DUST Search - Need a sit rep

Great typo as you are going to be more paying it than ever before.

But seriously, all cash grabs aside it is in a decent state. There are still some annoying bugs here and there like not being able to sprint at times (far less common) and frame rate drops on certain maps.

Weapons are more balanced than a year ago.

Scouts are annoying as hell.

haha that is a funny mistake. Fortunately I only sunk $50 into the game ;)

I can't see the point of playing such a committed game that was founded on concepts that were never there and isolated to only one console on one platform. Don't get me wrong I love my PS3 for certain games but DUST....well what can I say. I don't mean to be redundant but is the Legion game people are talking about supposed to be a mass battlefield game like Dust but on the PC? I'd be all about that if DUST is staying static.

If you weren't , the fastest way to sum it is they have scaled back the development team to a skeleton crew, no new sizeable content is planned.. The Head of the game used to be a financial analyst but doing a surprisingly good job at keeping it together. Personally, I think proto-stomping is far worse than it was before - maybe becuase there are just fewer players in general.... i would not like to be a new player at this time...

Even Legion, which seems to become vaporware, was planned to have no direct eve link from the start. My suspicion is that the EVE Dust link is one of the biggest problems in getting better performance out of the game. Also EGGERs would QQ and Riot in Jita if some consoleros would be able to shoot their shiny stuff out of the orbit of planets... It's not going to happen period!

It's the ability for DUST like game play and consequence, getting to do battles on various levels and scale, and have the staying power of being a PC or progressive console title. I could care very little for Eve actually. I played it for 6 months at one time, and I've since come to the honest realization that is like saying I picked up a really strong crack habit for 6 months. Well made game and all except for PvP, but I like my real life more.

Fortunately I only sunk $50 into the game ;) I am not sure whether to be jealous or not. I was close to $1000 before fanfest last year which caused me to slow down to zero for quite a while. Since the fix to strongboxes recently I have been spending somewhere in the area of $20 a week on keys. I JUST WANT A QUAFE WEAPON!!!!!!! I need help......

HAVs are in the middle of an overhaul... but as people have said already, primarily been performance and balance tweaks...nothing too major Khanid Logi and Tanker, sometimes AV Heavy or Sniper.
