We were grinding ambush, and doing well for the most part. One match we happendd upon a Kalante Schiffer and he was a blue. I felt good already, and proceeded to stick myself near him in a support capacity. Another logi in my squad was running with him and halfway through the match he started accusing him of using a modded controller with his Tac. Anecdote aside, it brought a question to my mind... when did the playerbase become so jaded as to accuse anyone who ever does well of some form of fuxery? Why isn't it safe to assume that someone who has been around awhile and has been known to do well is doing just that? Playing well. Not here, its always lag switch magic fotm op strafe cheat glitch hax or something... Mark a$$ tricks, and bags of dicks....

If someone is an experienced player they can usually tell by the sound and rhythm. If someone is using their finger, it can be fast, but inevitably the inputs will overlap and you will get the occasional stutter that naturally pulling R1 will produce. A modded controller won't do this. But being a good player and using a mod are not mutually exclusive. It's like prison, everyone in there is innocent and if you ask around here no one uses a modded controller. "Stay gold, Ponyboy..."

Second. If you hear the TAC ar shooting very fast and ALWAYS AT THE SAME RHYTHM, it's probably a modded controller. Kallente is quite possibly the best slayer in this game. Definitely the best with an AR. Many PCs had against him and I ALMOST killed him ONCE 1v1 lol.
