I found them irritating at first, though I actually prefer them to strafers. This is because jumping cannot be bastardized by having a low connection yet consistent connection. Also unlike strafing it forces shield suits to lose out on HP. Which means that anyone relying on jumping is easily outmatched at distance and in tight corridors. Those are drawbacks that strafing does not suffer.
It also buffs Commandos significantly by improving movement. On this note, it allows heavier suits to clear larger obstacles.
Another pleasant surprise is that it has helped Snipers find more vantage points and relocate faster.
Bravo Rattati,
Put your flags up in the sky.
And wave them side to side.
Show the world where you're from.
Show the world we are one.

Yes... Those Heavy suits with their large numbers of fitting slots..... Oh wait, no they don't have large numbers of fitting slots. It has not helped heavy suits. It has helped Scouts become arcade gamers with Mass Drivers and super Frisbee RE's. It has helped assaults also become arcade gamers.
It has not helped Logi or Heavies at all. And it has made the gameplay silly.
Jump height needs disconnecting from run speed, then heavies will be able to jump small steps without having to fit a module just to avoid getting stuck in some spawn areas. Heck, Heavies should have the highest natural jump to start with. Scouts sprint, heavies jump, assaults do some of both. Lets remove this whole idea of heavies having to be a lumbering tank with no mobility, make them the vertical combat fighters. While scouts are the horizontal. That will be interesting gameplay then, rather than scouts being a one stop shop for basically anything. |

While Scouts maintain their highest sprint speed as higher than the scouts. So assaults are run & gun while scouts are sprint then shoot dash fighters. The idea that in this current meta scouts are still a problem is foolish and not at all supported by what is happening in game.

Minmatar logistics, stacked myos, ferroscale armor tank And a lai dai flux repair tool with the reach to heal people on the ground
I don't know about you other logis but I'm enjoying being able to bounce away from danger and dictate what can shoot me a whole damn lot
People calling for revive on the the ground above/below that I would have had to ignore before? NINJA POWERS ACTIVATE
Rep targets finally die and a cluster of redberries are approaching? this is major tom to ground control, I'm jumping over that wall, and I've left a couple REs for them to choke on |

facepalm.jpg #56785434567 You misunderstand me, though I suppose it is my fault for being inconcise. I meant all suits who tend to have armor which reduces their jumping ability. This means Gallente Assaults and Amarr Assaults as well as Sentinels.
