That's exactly what I do....hunt vehicles....
Also, most objectives these days are well hidden from vehicles.

I just wish they didn't get such an extreme HP buff, trying to kill them with a ADS can take half the match time. Now that some Incubus fits may be viable again I'd really like to get back to tank hunting with it but end up fighting off installations all match.

You really can't tank hunt with an Incubus anymore unless you have a tank or AV player actively engaging it.
Well fit proto tanks will NOT crack under any solo Incubus fit. One with damage mod and a side gun might crack it, but you'll explode to the first thing that sneezes in your general direction.

And the majority of tank drivers DO NOT do this  Using the railgun to kill off the middle installations are always an ideal solution but killing off the installation that pops next to spawn and is a 5 second run always confuses me; it's not always one likely if seldom to flip and as it's right next to where we'd drop/spawn. There are a few matches likewise where the middle installations and letter objective in Dom is owned but instead of bring heat to the otherside or reinforcing the area a tank drivers will run off and abandon a position instead of helping to hold off all enemies in order to rack he most kills and retreat after taking hits from their installations/AA's and hey here comes the enemies maddy while ours is sitting back and getting repaired!
Most experienced players have a good idea of what installations to destroy and which not but it's usually the mentality of:
Kills > WP > Objective area > strategically captured zones. This is a good portion of Dust players both tank and foot meat fodder. |

It's a shame, it at least gave small rails a use. Now neither of its bonus's are useful in the slightest. The last few months I've resigned myself to using the python but I've always preferred armor tanking going all the way back to my EVE days.

Ill agree its annoying but for people who have no av weapons these things are awesome it sucks but I
I find myself being the only one using swarms on my team allot of the time and I cant expect newbies to waste their low sp on av right off the bat not fair to them. I hate to say this ( might not be concerning you) but allot of tankers tend to charge in thinking there not gonna die and complain when they do tanks should be long range support not assholes who do as they plz |

Always do since whelping infantry is boring unless they put up AV. But the point stands the reason HAV and ADS drop turrets as soon as they can is because infantry is terrible at retaining these battlefield assets.
You will see them hacked instantly for the WP but rarely ever defended. If you aren't willing to defend your assets you don't deserve to have them.

actually do the opposite. keep hacking them. I would rather have them Blue and shooting at red vehicles than destroyed. Except for missile installations. They all should die

There's very little incentive for infantry to hold them as they aren't targeted by them
They are incentivised to let them flip as they can hack them back for WP
Daily missions are not helping with incentives to kill and hack them

Anyways, I'm not saying there's any balance issue or even actually complaining, I'm just musing about how much I HATE people who hack installations because it all must die in a fire, and when I get +100 +50 I do this  all day long.
