I fit a militia tank like this and take out many tanks. I usually win unless i get stuck or ambushed by 2 tanks. My militia one has 5000 shield and I can tank every shot. Imagine if i skilled tanks and had this 7500 shield beast.

You can hawe 8500 shield with Particle Cannon if you skill into large rail prof.5 and small turent prof 5.

Yeah right go up vs a madrugar that has a blaster+armor hardener and that 5000 shields will be gone in no time. Ya know why? Cause no heatsink= railgun overheats in 3 shots. And i highly doubt it that you will kill a decent tanker with 3 shots.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!

Yesterday it took 3-5 shots to destroy a tank. Haven't run into a madrigal yet but I was gonna 1v1 with a proto Marduk till he and another tank ambush me while I was dealing with swarms.

People can fit tanks tons of ways now.
The Attorney General came back after a long hiatus. I hopped in to gun in his tank and noticed that it only had 2700 armor.
Me: "2700 armor? On a Madruguer?"
Him: "Plates are for p*ssies"
He runs a double rep double harden Maddy. And wrecks sh*t.

glory to THEIR redline, thats where im hidin, nobody expects you to call in a tank next to their own end zone :P and they oftin dismiss the RDV noise as a friendly :P
also sorry about nuking you with officer swarms (aka large blaster installation :P) its the only way i know to show i care :P

The OPs tank wouldn't stand a chance against my maddies. Wouldn't break my rep. Would overheat and die. If I had a gunner with me, he probably wouldn't last until he overheated.
Edit: You only need buffer fits for PC. Almost any pub match tanker pair can be dealt with through terrain and hardener management.

Hilariously this is less EHP then most "real" tanks with a hardener, and my maddie would eat that alive even at ADV level, seeing as I have more EHP then you (5600 armor not even counting the 40% damage reduction, so 9333 counting the hardener), and is actively repping to boot, and out-DPSing you with a damage mod (and god help you if my small rails are being manned, but let's assume this is 1 VS 1)
Other proto Cal HAVs will also have more EHP then you if they add a hardener.
Your HAV will do well if you get the drop on others, but in a stand-up fight against other ADV and proto HAVs you're going to regret having such low EHP.
What makes an acceptable militia fit won't work very well against higher metas.
