I use tanks now and again and I constantly get into 1 on 1's with another tank. My point is is it right to jump out you tank halfway through and fight to spam Av grenades. I personally when in a hav or ads I go down with the ship I don't baily out and be a dough bag. Do you think its ok to do this?
As well as failing at proto stomping I enjoy long walks on the beach and plasma cannoning people in the face

Technically, yes if you fight at close ranges like that.
Supposedly, there was going to be a delay for exiting vehicles such as the LAV and HAV, that would put the driven asset at risk if you were doing such. Will have to test the tanks tomorrow.

I'm going to say whatever gets to the win is the absolute authority on the matter simply because this is a tactic you need to expect your opponent to do wherever and whenever they can. There is not meta for this kind of thing nor should there be, if players can do it under the existing mechanics then those who don't must simply be better than them, and be prepared to manoeuvre as required.
From a personal stand point however I think disembarking from your tank as a pilot is reprehensible it means that they either couldn't give me a stand up battle of tanks regardless of the circumstances under which it was initiated or simply that they weren't confident or good enough to beat me in that encounter
Raphael: I'm warning you. Do not leave me here. I will find you.
Castiel: Maybe one day. Today you're my little bitch

If the game allows you to do it, and its not a glitch, then you're free to do it.
However, I personally feel that the game should not allow you to hop out on the fly, because the ability to do so typically leads to people who won the tank fight, to still lose their tank which is pretty ****** for the winner.
We need some sort of timer to make bailing out of a vehicle take longer than a simple button press. Not only is it more realistic, but it also prevents behavior such as this.

Yes if it's blaster v blaster fight. Cuz right now, blaster madrugars fights are taking forever.
They both rep through most of the dmg.

They both rep through most of the dmg. It was a gunlogi fight and I was winning because had the bigger gun . He popped a hardener on when it stared and I was struggling to get through it. He was having no trouble until I put my heavy shield booster on and then a hardener on as well . So I had a slight advantage until he jumped out a spammed a lie dia packed Av granade. Which might I add you now carry 3 Av grenades now. It seems all Av us getting buffed and vehicles a nurf
