That being said, I never want to return to the days of invincible tank spam. Keep in mind that LAVs got nerfed as well. It's now supposedly easier for a tank to kill them before they get too close. I guess time will tell, but right now I think JLAVs are here to stay. You were the chosen one, CCP! It was said that you would create a great game, not destroy one!

Also, stay on rough terrain. You know how easily those LAVs flip and roll? Use that to your advantage. I find JLAVs annoying and I would like them removed, but it's not like they are the be-all-end-all of AV. There are techniques to avoid or discourage them. Why should 6 people in jeeps and all the equipment and prep work not be an equal price for your tank? All of them went out on a suicide spree, got me twice, a friendly soma and a gladius. Just because they got pushed back long enough for the point to be hacked.

Is it an Apex suit or are you switching to the apex suit when you get in the car? It's just a custom built proto gallente logistics suit. The only really important things about it are basically that it has two different versions of proto remote explosives and 32mbps in bandwidth.
