The role of LRs has not been rooftop camping since before tye weapon was added to the game.

If CCP's new vision is to have this stupidity as a part of combat, do not leave it on a module. Jumping shouldn't be something you fit for, it's a necessity to the game. If you want it to be this new craziness then build the gunplay around it and make it a skill that you level up, holding x takes you to the height you want or to the peak of your jump arc.
But ffs, don't throw a mechanic into a game where only a few weapons are really going to work in a balanced way with it.

Moonboots make easy targets- aiming is difficult while flying- knife v knife midair is epic(until a sniper picks you off for floating through the air after disemboweling someone)
Cqlm down a bit. These super jumps are something you have to skill into. And nobody will use them before long. forget all about it and just use your breach ar. I know yiu love your breach ar. Everytime you see someone drifting through the air(lets call them... Drifters) so every time you see a drifter, just imagine them as a clay pigeon. Or just dont and instead watch their shields droo when they hit the ground, its hil-fkin-larious!
