I'm tending that way. No reason to run a proto hive, when advanced hives carry just as many clusters for less isk. No reason to run a repper, when wildly increased mobility makes it that much harder to keep anyone in rep range. No reason to run a logi suit, when they're underpowered and overpriced, and CCP does nothing with the feedback in a 70+ page thread on the subject.

Anyone running a logi should consider stopping/cutting back. CCP won't do anything to fix logis as long as players persist trying to use a broken class instead of abandoning it. I'm deleting most of my fits for all four race's proto logis. I'll keep a couple fits, in case I get a good squad with at least three heavies that need support.

I'm tending towards a plasma cannon scout. Its wildly better at deploying links, carries more than enough ammo to never need logi support, and one-hit-kills most infantry, while being much more useful against the newly buffed tanks. It costs a fraction as much, and improves my K/D ratio insanely. So I'll probably be running uplinks/hives or REs/hives for the foreseeable future.

Buff logis? This is definitely not the only way to go about it. If you're playing logis as the force multipliers they are meant to be, why not buff the force we're meant to be multiplying?
