OMG CCP I LOVE YOU
Glorious battles were had today!! More tanks than i've ever seen, and much more entertaining than just *blap* *blap* *ded* The fitting possibilities are MUCH more diverse! Absolutely flawless!! (Not really) But awesome all the same. Finally! Is this similar to what chromosome tanks were? Probably not, but holy crap am I psyched. I'll no doubt spend a while messing with different fits.
Might be weird, but I actually like the ROF nerf to the Large Missile Turret. I was put in a situation today where I was ambushed by a maddy. Pre-echo, I would've panicked and spammed my missiles in their general direction and miss 70% of the shots, but because that was limited, I could actually concentrate on aiming and am happy to say I reduced him (and his two redberries) to a pile of smoldering ash.
I was a bit miffed at first that shield regulators were in the high and the dispersion modules low, but I guess it's for the best because I was able to fit a damage mod where I could put it.
I still think the armor tanks are at a disadvantage fitting-wise, but then again, the first match I played today (before re-fitting all my tanks) we got redlined by an Ion Cannon Gv.0.
Overall, this is my most favorite update i've seen in my year-and-a-quarter of Dust (Not to mention the amazingness of the myofibril stims, I saw a scout jumping ~20m high!) though I do think the LAV nerf was a bit much. Keep up thye improvements CCP!!
Oh yeah, one match had serious framerate issues but that's probably because there was a massive amount of vehicles (Dropships, tanks, and LAVs alike).

I am stunned by this bug, dispersion mods are supposed to be high and regulators low.
I personally ran these loadouts on the test server.
Will be fixed.
