Thal Vadam wrote:"Nonsense brother, Satja is as much my friend as you are Kador."
He sits down
"Won't you two join me?"
He turned to blood and smirked slightly. Another Merc who thought a name and custom painted armor made him a professional.
"We'd be happy to." replied her master, signalling a waitress over.
They took seats opposite Thal ordering several drinks, a Quafe for the Templar and Athran spring water herself, placing a respectable distance between herself and the two Templar's. She sipped at the cool liquid thankful for the refreshing taste free of additives or overly intense flavours appreciating the intense clarity and simplicity of it.
Her mood was foul, had been for a while, since she had been released of study leave from the University to prepare for the upcoming mid-term examinations and it did not help that her betters from the Theological Offices were still pressuring her to remind Kador of his duties to return to the CWMPA warzone, to "play his role" again.
Beside her Kador ran a hand through his tousled hair before leaning back into his seat and watching the crowd silently, his mood was no better thanks to her meddling and likely wouldn't improve any time soon considering they'd never talk about it anyway.
"My thanks Classiarii Vadam." She said choosing her words carefully. "I fear however my Master is right. I've spent more time with my peers than my betters of late, it would do me a great service to be reminded of my standing, The Lord knows I have yet to be truly Reclaimed and I must remember the Code of Demeanour to correctly show my respect. It is however a pleasure to meet your Lordship since my studies tend to see my attentions are in the Mandate." |

Nefantar, really? She thought quizzically looking at her kinsman before shrugging to Kador who looked equally bemused. He of course had been referring to the tribe who had chosen to side with the Amarr during the conquest of Matari space, and she supposed he was right in his thought process knowing she studied in the Mandate. However this was no more indicative of her heritage than Kador's classically sculpted features, typically associated with the Amarr, were of his own.
It was merely that she was not a citizen and therefore not qualified to study in an Amarrian space at a university of higher education, however in the Mandate a Templar's recommendation held more sway in one of the conservative Ardishapur institutions.
She was about to correct her kinsman politely however his attentions shifted to Thal and then on to the audience that had assembled in the small cloistered section of the lounge. |

Jonny D Buelle wrote:Jonny was lost in thought when Kador and Satja walked in. He snapped back to reality when they sat down. He quickly ordered a beer and took out another smoke. He lit it and took a couple puffs.
'Kador, nice to see you again,' he said. 'You never told me you were married.' He then turned to Satja and said, 'or that she was beautiful. Jonny D Buelle, at your service.'
He then turned to Knight. 'I heard the same thing too from... Well let's just say a reliable source. However to get far in my line of work it never pays to listen to every rumour.'
"Jonny, its a......pleasure" she said offering him a wry smirk, talking into her glass. "Still inclined to hit on anything with legs I see. Shocking."
This exhorted an approving snort of laughter from the seat next to her. |
