I happened upon a Scottsman's gk.0, but I only use it at the beginning of battle to race for objectives, when there is zero chance of encountering an enemy. After I hack, I immediately swap into another suit for fear of losing the Scottsman's.

It drives me nuts because I don't really see the proof that it is. I have 3 logibro's suits I haven't used. I am not playing mko logi as much as I used to, but there's also the fact that I don't expect 3 logi suit to last an entire pc, and I would like to be able to spend at least most of one game in said suit before I field it. You also don't know what you get unless you dig through your assets. And don't get a lot of stuff you can use. Example: only light weapon I have maxed out is RR. I have 4. But boat loads of other weapons I don't want. I would use my experimental weapons if I could control the supply. This might be fix by player trading though

I've had my lab running for a while and I've only gotten 3 experimental ARs. Between the component cost and the randomness of getting one that you like they just are not worth running. Lag is one of the primary reasons that I run STD gear on a regular basis. Accidental deaths due to hiccups are so common that it counter balances any advantage I would get from running higher level gear. Lag is a huge factor in why I wouldn't run officer gear in any match, only outweighed by the scarcity of the officer drops.

I don't understand why I have to use components to claim the gear in the first place when the warbarge has already made them. I plan to use then as currency with player trading to get me things that I want....bpo's for various things that I know are out there! Officer dropsuits and weapons will become a currency to trade for things and officer stompers of the future will gladly give away anything lesser to obtain them! I didn't lose anything that battle and I've never run any officer gear since. As for wether or not I'd use an officer dropsuit + officer weapon again... I would if I: 1. Have more than one copy of each. 2. Have the skills to use said gear. 3. I officially "git gud". I got 3 Scotman suits which is nice since I'm a galscout... too bad I got them on a low SP ALT.
