Tuesday at DT. All game times are done by EVE time, which is GMT. So you Americans get it however many hours behind us you are.

^ This. It has always been Wednesday (UTC), but for some reason mine reset today (Tuesday UTC).

Why, will it give me the 120K that I didn't get to earn from my last cap?
EDIT: also, WTF are you talking about? Update screen shows 'Daily Activity Bonus', 'Recommendations', and 'News and Events'. None of which explain why the cap reset early.

LOL, most of us just jumped in and got on with the killing since 99% of the time that update screen tells us nowt useful.

Ahoy!
The Cap used to be refreshed every Wednesday, that's correct. However, this was recently changed - several times actually - when we deployed Warlords 1.0 Hotfixes. The login screen - under NEWS - is now specifically stating the following in the first line:
"[TIP] Weekly Skill Point Cap resets every Tuesday at 11:00 UTC"

The old SP cap was 190,000 and reset every Wednesday. Seems so small now.
I capped every week.
SP was hard to come by.
No respecs.
If you had proto it was worthy of admiration because everyone knew how long it took to get it.
The cap changed to 750,000 and Tuesday reset when Professor Rattati, not knowing how boosters worked (?), decided to gloss over his gaffe and "test" the new cap "for a month", where of course it has been ever since.
Now I never cap and everyone has more SP than they need.
We don't have good events anymore as a result.
