It falls on CCP not the players. Because some of us realize that we can't control CCP (and to a similar degree other people), but I can control myself, lead by example, and encourage other players to do the same. I can't help it if some people aren't smart enough to realize that their actions have consequences and that they are more inclined to place the entire blame on someone else rather than accept that what they do DOES have ramifications. its a video game and in a video game your going to get 1000s of different types of people playing with different ideas of the way they want to play. look at bf3 when you go in the brazilian servers they are all in the glitch spot above the map cheating. now ask yourself can you carebear just ask players to stop cheating and that will work? or is it the developers job to just fix the loopholes in the game that can be abused?

CCP stamps out updates every month yeah? They're little by little BUT the next update is tentative April/May, right? So that's quite a bit of work.
Have faith dude....be easier on your digestion, I promise.
The stuff that will actually help is still on the backburner. |

What I don't understand is why I see so many starter fits. Everyone should start with enough sp to field a basic suit and they are much better than starter fits. I've maxed out my cores but I can make a basic min assault with 400 shield and 330 armor for like 10 K isk. Unless you die 20 times you'll make isk. This suit is by far good enough to take out proto.
Most of the time I see a stomp it's a big squad of proto versus mostly militia gear and one or two people trying... I feel bad for them (and myself cause it's usually me). Seriously if everyone just put out basic gear it would happen less except when your playing kazuka or something along those lines.
I should add that I've been on the stomping part of protostomping many times... People just make it too easy. I can't speak for others but I do it cause I'm waiting for another squad of proto to fight against. That's when dust is fun. I also have only 10 mil isk so I can't afford to die much. I think a lot of players are poorer than you think due to LP store isk sinks and wearing proto 24/7. |

Both.
People who abuse glitches are also culpable in the consequences of their actions. A company may have a greater duty to a broader set of people, but that doesn't change the fact that people who abuse mechanics are NOT FORCED to do so, that they make a conscious CHOICE to do so, and should be held accountable by the rest of the community for the consequences of their actions.
