Long time a go, in the other galaxy...
Tom Hanks frag tank with pistol... (at last +70 for assist)
At the begining any weapon do full dmg to vehicles. And this was good. Then CCP decides that people are to good in normal weapon (not AV) and gives only 10% dmg from it... and left vehicle dmg intack vs infranty. IMHO to much in nerf.
There left some 'artefacts' like sniper rifle vs dropships.
BUT WHY PEOPLE NEED MORE NERF HERE?
Bring back full dmg (ok 30% is enough) and all player will be equal smohow (poor infranty vs happy roaming tank). Even team of infranty can bite anoying tank and make them fallback.
Vehicle users shoudn't have easy mode as it is now.

2k dmg is not the end of tank. You have plenty time to decide to engage or retreat..... in militia vehicle with 5k+ EHP
Infantry dont have any chance to make you bleed hard if you know what to do.... in milita vehicles.
Militia cheap... solo piloted machines of doom :)
Actualy infantry can 'scary' you, and only when some people take commando and play together.
Not often happen. Most of my expirence in last year that I'm only ONE INFANTRY AV in match... And you still complaining how easy you die... Because new tankers never be in danger before? Why there are some vehicle users that 'never' happen to destroy and they do a lot of harm? We play same game.
How Dust will be look like when CCP reintorduce proto vehicles and MTAC?

I'm with tankers from the beginning (closed beta).
If you tell me that it is easy loose HAV.. yes it is, but easiest way is go as heavy crosing road.
But how much easier is to loose as infranty 1 to 10 (you can do it every match) for people then do same in tank or any other vehicle? How ofter you jump out from you precious vehicle? Jump out with full Heavy suit with HMG or full electro cloak and continiue laugh at AV user.
I'm AV from beginning. Since era of SL that can do sometihng to vehicle, to time when it was laugh for any driver/pilot.
Era of AV grenades that you deploy around depot ant wait for any 'hungry' for kills vehicle that easy kill infranty around it.
Time that every friend give ISK for few tankers for any support.
Time that CCP nerf all AV. Time that drivers can recall any vehicle now at any moment and get it back with full EHP and ammo.
I have respect for few of you, but as average, you vehicle users already loose horizon. With more powerful vehicles that comes, bigger map , infantry are at end line... even new or old player.
If you don't 'harden' your skils and only whine for more easy mode this game never be balanced as vehicle vs infranty.
At last I only need times like Tom Hanks vs tank... never loose hope and last bullet make miracles.
I will be there and I will watch you.. always.
