Why has the ScR been designed in such a way that it only becomes useful after a fairly significant SP investment and then after some more investment it becomes OP? |

I almost added the shotgun but I was taking into account the skill level needed to get in close on someone to make it work. The MLT shotgun requires you get closer than any other shotgun.
To be honest I did not test the laser rifle as in depth as other weapons. I did not list it because I feel like the time it takes a MLT laser to kill most suits requires a pretty good amount of skill to track someone that long.
All of this testing was done on an alt with 10 million lifetime SP and 100% of it being unallocated. |

That thing overheats like no body's business and you will not win a one on one unless you have SP's invested , I would have respected if you added on the BP because it has a shortened clip but it's headshot multiplier makes that gun just OP in the right hands .
Militia HMG is garbage .
It's not like the CR , RR or BP where you can have zero invested and still win gunfights , you have to have the HMG at least PRO 2 for it to be any good .
You must not have ever experienced a maxed out HMG to call the militia OP , even with investments ... it just becomes below ADV and that's where it belongs .
You people need to stop with the heavy hate .

What made me put it on the OP list is the fact that I was able to consistently win fights with it. I suppose my practice at managing the heat build up on a HMG may have distorted my view as I only over heated a couple of times.
As for the BP, you will notice that I did not list any side arms. This is because I only tested primary weapons. I did this because my next tests involve the mixing of WB damage and damage mods to see which primary weapons gain the most benefit.

I debated on the MLT ARR and had to test it a bit more in depth. When using it at range its damage + no charge time + aim assist make it crazy. |

The AR is only lethal as a finisher or to ambush. Ineffective in most other scenarios.
I disagree on the ScR. With zero skill in the weapon to increase cooldown and zero skill in Amarr Assault to reduce heat build up it is by far the most difficult weapon to get a kill with. I think its great where it is on skills I just think that it should be more friendly to newbies on the front end. |

I'm going to guess you run armour tank and see a lot of armour tankers. My proto assault gets destroyed by MLT ARs. Same with ScR. CR and HMG still OP no matter what... ARR isn't to me. Just shrug off those bullets.
I tested using MLT Cal Heavy, MLT Amarr Heavy, MLT Cal Assault, and MLT Amarr assault. With no core skills and only MLT mods i saw almost no difference in my insta deaths. |

I found that the best overall combo for a newb with no skill invested is Amarr with a rail rifle while staying at range. I reserved saying this as it is definitely affected by my play style that I have already developed. |
