Using strikes from eve ships in FW
When the eve strike is rdy it shows the usual blue notification in the corner However with the small strikes available it can be unclear which notification is the strike from the EVE pilot
I've been working around this by either being on Mic with the eve pilot or having them mail me so I get the mail notification when the strike is rdy
I suggest a different colour notification for eve strikes in FW and PC
E.g wp strikes are blue, eve strikes are red/green
Thank you for your attention and hard work

I support this idea and change.
Multiple times now when I'm dropping the OBs from EVE, the players on the ground can't tell if it's ready or not efficiently.

I didn't know that those tiny Strikes were available in Faction matches. That does make it a difficult issue, doesn't it.
I'm a player who is always looking to notch up the difficulty in this game,GǪ so my first impulse would be to say that it's GOOD for Orbital Strikes to require a couple of extra moments to coordinate, and to "confirm" that the Capsuleer support is ready, and to possibly screw up a strike opportunity (that throws the fight into the other team's favour ).
But LOOKMOM's option works just as well: Clear up the HUD data traffic by requiring ALL strikes (or strike types) to be fired by a Capsuleer, (this still produces the difficulty increase that I like to see, because now the Capsuleer has to be told WHICH type of strike you want, and has to make sure she can bring the right weaponry with her to provide that type of strike).
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...

This is how FW OBs originally worked and it was great.
Battle dynamics changed based on if you had a pilot in space, they had a pilot in space, or there was no pilot in space.
The dynamic of the link itself was destroyed by normal OBs being added. Most pilots will not even consider attempting to drop OBs because the chances of a merc calling it in are slim to none. Undo the damage that was done that ill fated day and turn off normal orbitals in FW. I urge everyone to push for this as well.

The discussion of wp strikes in fw is a separate issue
Im not entirely sure why we have them now, perhaps to give players a way to hit back against q syncers More probable is the fact that eve strikes are not easy to find and there are not many in game methods for dust mercs to meet OB pilots
On the main topic Yes it is important to have a degree of co-ordination with pilots, but like us they have other things to bear in mind and cannot always be in direct contact with dust mercs I work a lot with several different state operators and we don't always have the luxury of being in direct contact in battle
So I just thought it may be a simple fix just to colour eve strikes differently
