I've been back for about 2 months now. I've seen a lot of new faces. It's like comparing Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan.

When I left Dust last year, FunkMaster Whale was the best Forge-Gunner in the game. Guys like Regnum, Kallente and Extacy were the best slayers. Cubs and Preston owned QCQ. Ted Nugget, The Legend345 and Addict Punk were feared on the battlefield in tanks. Sir Snugglz and Ariana Stratos ruled the air. idk man...

Now there are a lot of players who have taken these titles. I know the game has changed a lot, but it just seems so weird trying to explain to these newer "Legends", that they inherited their titles and didn't exactly earn them. It's hard to say something like that without offending people, but it's the truth. Most of the guys running the show now-a-days are....scrubby and nooby. Arrogant and have forgotten where they came from and what real competition is.

Just don't know how else to explain it. I miss the Djinn's...I miss Regnum, I miss Cubs....I miss Snugglz, The Legend, Bobthe843CakeMan, Annie Oakley, Calamity Jane, all the old guys. Missing Chromosome period.

I even miss the scrubs like Pearson and Char.

don't know why you mentioned extacy & kalante they both still play pretty much everyday lol. oh and they're both still some of the best players in this game. :P aside from people like them I swear the community keeps getting worse the longer dust goes on... it's the strangest thing.

How the hell do you have the audacity to call arrogant the newer players who put in the time to develop the skill needed to excel at this game all while saying that they didn't earn those titles and that they were inherited?

The new top players did not inherit their reputation; they earned that reputation by outperforming others.

I have managed to have knife duels with musturd before, beat him once and got gunned down twice in the 3 i have had. DJINN Latino is back though :)

And lol at the thought of competition. Rarely has there actually been competition in DUST even when all the old "legends" were playing. Hell, 90% of the time these "legends" crawled into the same bed and cuddled with each other.

Many of the best players I have ever played with or against where in this Corp. Battle.

Legends come and go. I've never been one to enjoy a spotlight.
Its complicated thing to sit and look at players today & compare them to players in the game a year ago.
The status quo of the game is very much different on every level.

Personally, I've been tanking in Dust for a long time. I've been through & continue to slither in a sea of nerfs.
I've seen & faced the best competition. I've felt the thrill of victory - overcoming impossible odds.
I miss all of the tankers I used to roll with. Who had my six, Tankers that I could count on. Almost all of them are gone and it ain't fun to think about.

I would hope there are some who remember my acolades. Other players are what makes a legend possible.
Never will I gloat or perceive myself as the better tanker. If others make me a legend, So be it. If not, So be it.
I'm sure all of the other dinosaur tankers feel the same as me.

Everyone plays to the best of their ability and honestly there are a lot of missing names in your OP. But remember, Things change with time Burns. The new legends made today are the same as before. It just all depends on what legends you know - There are many unspoken for.

Most real legends would stay legends despite the nerfs and changes to the game. Take every single one of them on as a challenge.
