Has anyone tried using the SCR, but using two fingers to fire? By this, I mean alternating them in order to achieve a much higher ROF. Does this work?

No, the R1 button is a bit too small to achieve this. Enhancing the surface area of the paddle is possible through commercial adjustment but I feel no need to. Perhaps the layout could also be changed to make R2 the firing button, though I would have to relearn a new method.
Is it possible? Entirely, though it would take effort that I am personally not enticed of experiencing.
Here is a curious firing method though. I call it the Breach method.
Only hold the charge long enough that you can fire off another shot without overheating in quick succession. It gives you a medium rate of fire when if comes to charged shots and helps to land consistent headshots against high HP targets. I most employ this method against heavies.

No but seriously thank you. I've tried everything to fire fast to achieve greater dps than breach ARs. I have switched my controller playstles, I've tried kbm, and even two finger tapping. I can move my finger fast, but I did not know that its all in the wrist ;)
While slow to anger and occasionally indecisive, they are also capable of harnessing enormous resolve when truly tested.

also ive found moving my left hand while tapping right finger helps me speed it up.
almost like tapping the controller againt ur finger instead of the other way round.

Two finger rolls aren't very easy on a DS3 Controller. I'd just assume smash it as fast as possible with one and hope for the best.
I've tried ending a volley with the Charged Shot, to the face if possible.
Having the spike of Damage at the end helps knocking out moderately high Armor HP targets.
If it doesn't work though, I have fun break dancing.

It broke my friggin DS3.
I lost the ability to sprint, and the deployment window kept popping up.
TL;DR: You owe me a new DS3.

had an old rapid fire controller and tried the ScR. kicks like an Epileptic bucking bronco. good for close range but overheats far too quickly still. the TAC on gall assault is far better
