We would arrive to the 5M kills quicker if both sides are loosing considerable number of clones.
Cloning out the enemy team while your team still has 100+ clones is hurting the event more than it is helping it.
The proto stompers are hurting the event AND the game.

I play MLT/STD (mk.0 minmando with MD/swarms time to time)
and still go top of the scoreboard.

The viziam scr, and the duvolle tacs, the boundless HMGs and CRs, taking full advantage of every advantage! These are the weapons of the champions of this event! Yes, it'll be the guys afraid to lose suits. It'll be the guys taking long flanks and keeping range so they don't lose a suit. It'll be the guys going 23-0.
Until you realize the guy playing like a maniac in a Dragonfly scout going 14-10 is actually running better numbers for the event, and then you realize you can't do math properly because your parents are first cousins. The guy going 7-17 is running better numbers. You realize two teams wrecking all the clones is way better than one team wrecking one side of clones. Just make sure everyone has good uplinks and get to it.
The spirit of this challenge is recklessness. If it were a surgical kill experiment your deaths would be subtracted from your kill count.
But do what you like man. It took me all of one day to realize being mad at stupid is a huge waste of time, because it's ever-present.

I've witnessed more APEX, BPO, and starter fits tonight than I've seen in a long time.
I dare to say, people are catching on to what it'll take.
Having fun doing it too.
You get a blue tag in here telling us that promoting the use of cheap/free gear during the event, trying to decrease the TTK, and trying to make sure as many clones are killed per match is boosting and I'll run proto the rest of the event.
Look man, I've switched over to proto plenty during this event. I've played against guys that I didn't want to loose face to. Guys that were running their best gear and got shredded in my paper thin Serpent Scout, and said "you know what? No, eat a bag of dicks scumbag!" and I switched out. I got blasted by that Gunnlogi and said "Nope, where's my forgegun?". I don't expect anyone to play to lose. I"m just saying that when you see a team of guys playing this event right, do your part. Get dirty.

My math is fine.. 95% of vets don't care about this event.. I have 40+ bpo's not including lav's or weapons..
Maybe the bpo would be cool, but it wouldn't be special when everyone gets it.

I wish I had one of those BPOs to play recklessly in this event. Somehow, I missed all the events with precisely timed loss of access to my PS3 and also can't access FW to grind loyalty points.
But as it is, I've got a starter suit against protostompers with needles. And I'm spiteful enough to not feed protostompers even more WP, when my characters barely got a few million SP. |

No one is suggesting 'boosting' we're suggesting everyone run cheap fits and try to kill each other, rather than half the community doing this to boost the protato players... Why do you even need proto if half the other team is militia anyway?
By running Proto, you slow the process and stop people bothering... Think about it "everyone run proto to kill faster" = having to down a proto suit, which people didn't want to lose = people hiding and playing safe = slow progress.
By running militia/std, no one cares about dieing, everyone dies faster, everyone has fun on a level playing field = shorter games & better chance of completing the challenge.
... Feel free to join the 'Militia Madness' channel with a few alts and have some fun, while leaving these scrubs to run away from each others proto... Yes if you run from my adv fit, you'll probably run from each others proto, not really racking up those clone deaths. |

Heimdallr is right. CCP isn't offering anything interesting for us [vets, community].
And spending 5 days killing for hours in this game is a suicide mission.

Because running to a supply depo, switching to an underpowered form of AV and then trying to down a hardened tank with shield boosters is going to speed up the count, lol. |
