Planetside2 open beta coming soon and if all goes well a ton of codes for closed beta should be going out in a week or two.
I am Dust Free, found fun in gaming again,, Planetside2? Makes dust look like what it is, crap.

We are coming up on the first character wipe and with that they will be introducing the other three continents, we will now have four giant maps without borders. Also opening up EU server. Word is they will be sending out two to three times the codes already sent totaled to date in one shot, so a lot of codes coming.
The patch was submitted for approval this week and I would expect it to go live next week. Everything after this wipe will also cost only 1 cert point. Meaning weapons that normally cost 1000 cp you can grab for 1cp, so on and so fourth. This will allow for everything to be tested and played with by everyone t find remaining bugs, "at this point". This applies to everything, weapons, vehicles, armour, shields, toys, gadgets, turrets, tools, etc. Thus allowing people a chance to try stuff they may have not known they would have liked before and decide to cert into it fully in the future. Whether or not they will be adding the "Outfit structure" similar to the Corp structure in Dust in this update remains to be seen. Once it is you can have four squads of twelve in a full platoon with multiple chats, along with proper recruiting options.
Lastly after this there will be another character wipe and open beta should begin, probably a month from now, maybe less if all goes well. I can say this, they are taking cautious time and doing it right, the Devs listen to the beta testers and ever now and then they play with us to check stuff out hands on.
Yeah Tebow, only 200-300 on right now, but boy when we all get together at some of the large battles, it is quite Epic as Regnyum stated above.

That was about the ONLY thing I liked about PS2. Didn't care for the gameplay, the art style, the weapons etc. Couldn't get a hang of vehicles. Every fight i got into was a stomp. You think stomping is bad in Dust? Just wait. If the PS4 is similar to the PC version, it's an endless cycle of "run into the fight, get killed by someone you had no clue was even within shooting distance, respawn, run into the fight, rinse, repeat" The map in that game gives no clues even when you're looking right at someone.
I'm sure it will be popular on the PS4 just like it is on PC, it just wasn't my cup of tea
It is the true hardcore shooter with weapons that are balanced, vehicles take skill, running into the fight COD style will get you killed over and over, use your head, if someone could be there on the map, they are.
Not a run and gun game and real teamwork is a must or you will get truly stomped, big boy pants needed.
