Nerf scanners to the ground..... 1 RE can win you a fight but 1 scanner can win you a battle. at least when tossing a remote you put yourself in the middle of danger but with scanners.... you never run out, and you get wallhacks that everyone complained about when it was scout 514. Every piece of equipment has a downside to using it except for scanners... hives have a huge bubble , nanite injectors require you to be defenseless while you kneel down, cloaks have a weapon switch delay and passive scan reductions... you guys get my point, every equipment has a downside except for scanners. 
I await a reply from a scanner faggg, lets see how you can possibly defend the easiest/lamest thing in the entire game to do...

when you toss it from on a roof are you guaranteed a kill....no ,and if you toss it into a door way and they don't react to seeing a red dot at the doorway..... they deserved to die. Re's can be countered with fluxs, scanner and shooting them... How do you counter a perma scanning gal logi that just hides in a corner the whole match?

no one asked about its role, I said the scanner takes absolutely no skill.... their is no downside to using them unlike all the other equipment... if your defense is we cant have ammo if we use a scanner Ill just tell you that same downside applies to RE and Nanite injectors both of which have other risks involved. sorry to burst your bubble, scanners need to be toned down or an active profile dampener equipment needs to be introduced
