And the sniper rifle im using is between - the Charge sniper (use sometime) -NT-54 sniper (use all the time) -The Fork sniper (Rarely use cause its a salvage weapon)

Caldari Assault has a ton of high slots for damage mods, and Caldari Commando gets a damage bonus for snipers.

For straight up damage and high eHP, many would say the Caldari Commando is a decent suit to go with. If you are into a mobile sniping playstyle whilst having the advantage of a low profile to stay hidden, others would recommend some form of Scout. |

I pretty satisfied with my setup. Its GallAssault
3x profile damp 2x medium armore (110hp each) 3x lightwep damage
Charge all the time and Kall for medium range. Occasionally Fork+Thale vs protostopers.
Its a beast setup. |

Caldari scout. It's mobile, have 4 high slots and it's unscanable by vehicles. Other scouts can be just as good.
Medium can be, but it's not as mobile as scout.
Commando.. only for camping. And it's very easy to find commandos via vehicle scanners.
Go for scout/medium, only dmg mods.

Never thought of using a commando for that, must be because i havent invest enough sp on getting that Each level of the CalMando skill tree adds 2% flat damage to hybrid rail weapons per level. The Sniper Rifle falls under that category. At level 5, the Calmando will have an extra 10% boost alongside a 25% reduction to reload times. Also, let's not forget the 3 high slots that are available at the Prototype level. This enables the user to stack light weapon modifiers for even more damage output which can be further increased by maxing out the Sniper Rifle's Proficiency skill.
In all, the CalMando functions as a high damage, high eHP sniping platform. You'll have anywhere from 800 to 900 total health and you'll also be able to defend yourself with a decent rifle of choice instead of a sidearm. |

Anything caldari. High shields and high damage output make you the bane of everything not in a vehicle. I am currently using a quafe ck0 with three damage mods, 2 extenders, three armor plates, allotek hives and a thale's, kaalakiota or charge.

Calmando.
Fit a proto kincat on that low, though...
Two CPX Damage Mods and a Shield Extender ought to do the trick for the highs.
If you have a Roden Sniper Rifle, though, any suit will do. |

It depends on what you want to do.
Caldari Commando is more for your "versatile mobile Sniper platform" I'd designate that as more of a Marksman suit that a sniper suit. since it's not good with speed you'd be better off taking an objective with friendlies then setting up shop by making s snipers nest to keep them off.
A scout suit if you want high mobility and stealth, getting behind enemy lines type interceptor things. You know there's a Gallente Logistics in this area. Go into the area stealthed up, don't engage enemies even though you see them find a perch and keep killing him in his once thought "safety zone". Do this with contested letters and such.
An Assault suit if you want more survivability and damage mod options at the cost of speed and tank, all around decent sniper platform if you put dampeners on it but honestly it's a bit generic.
As long as 4/5 (80%) of infantry AV weapons are Anti Armor based you're never going to achieve vehicle balance CCP

If you don't want to be yelled at for being useless, run a scout.
Perks:
Dampened. You can be close to the action and not be scanned.
Speed. Very easy to get some kills, and then move to another location. Cloak helps with this.
Utility: Min scout has amazing hack speed. If you run across an installation, its easy to hack it and get some extra WP, and not have people whining that you aren't doing anything.
Excellent at counter sniping. If you see a sniper that has seen you move away from the area (Behind a hill or something). CLOAK. Relocate. If you know where he's shooting from, you can get an angle, and HS the guy while he's waiting for you to pop your head back up.
Cons:
Headshots will KILL YOU. Hell, even a charge could body shot you. Thankfully, a 253 shield Min Scout will eat a sniper shot without breaking shields most of the time. Excellent for running, cloaking, and counter sniping
You will have to move FREQUENTLY. Nobody likes snipers, and a scout suit is extremely squishy. A ScR could easily snipe you at 50-60m if you aren't careful. Remember, YOU have the range weapon and speed. Force people to engage on your terms. If they try to close the gap, CLOAK AND RUN.

I'd say a Calmando for general purpose sniping, or if you love tactical sniper rifles then grab a shield-tanked scout.
I've found that a Kali tac on a Cal Scout is devastating, between the stealth, speed of the suit and fast ready times of the weapon itself. Went into a domination a few days ago with that set-up, kept a mobile "patrol" and wasted over twenty guys that way.
It's hard to be counter-sniped if you always move.

With the tactical rifle I acutally use a cal assault; just feels better that way considering how much closer to the action is required and the balance of tank damage and mobility is needed for the tactical rifle's demands for squad support.
As counter sniper go a variety of scout suits for mobility; stealth and positioning. far too often the snipers I want removed don't move nor pay attention. Also most of these kinds of sniper sdont fit enough tank to survive most counter sniping; a charge rifle is overkill majority of the time but I stick with the standard for the range advantage and the ability to get two body shots in rapid succession.
For rooftop sniping on down you probably want a sentinel even. Counter snipes are going to be all over you and they can easily end your spree if you are not tanked enough; make them require at least higher level of snipers to deal with you.
Best pickings are around 250 meters away from an established front (your blues are forming a good wall between you and the reds) and low ground or broken terrain (anything to prevent you from sticking out geometrically) Hill tops are by far the worst spot as anyone breezing over the line can see you sticking out and plan to deal with you.
With a front Blues are providing too much of an immediate threat for reds to deal with you and you're optics are good enough to start wrecking some folks regardless of rifle type.

You are pretty survivable with snipers and you aren't even supposed to be hit. However, I shield tank it so I can laugh off shots from a target out of their effective range, it lets me concentrate on the shot way more.
I wouldn't recommend ferros, but whatever works for you. kincats are great, and damage mods are fine. TacSnip can definitely use the damage mods, though remember; headshots are best damage mods.

well on a few I disagree with you. scout sniper I go Caldari. highest scout sr damage mods ability, good mobility, avg sidearm, naturally damped to stay hidden.
assault sniper caldari again. faster reload, avg mobility, good sidearm with the mag sec, highest sr damage mods ability
best heavy sniper is amarr. highest ehp, logi is amarr due to a big adv of having a sidearm.
to me the best overall is the caldari commando. damage bonus & faster reload, high damage mods, high ehp, and another light weapon to defend yourself,

The suits you mentioned are close seconds but they all fall short in one category or another 1. the Cal scout may have more high-slots ,but scouts are starved for module slots, and a 4th dmg mod offers little utility and a shield extender offers little protection.... the Min scout gains an additional low slot which just offers more utility plus knives go good with sniper and cloak
2. the Min assault gets the clip bonus to smg, has better mobility, and more versatile tank... the Cal has to sacrifice too much and only gets a reload bonus
3. Gal and Amarr Heavies have similar ehp's due to resistances and gal has an extra highslot for a dmg mod
4. logi's generally make poor snipers I gave Min the adv because or mobility but the argument could be made for Amarr

Bricked Gal Sent is actually the best sentinel against counter-snipers, as the 15% resist to Hyrbid Rails (AKA sniper rifles) means it is substantially harder to kill then amarrian sents in sniper fights.

A caldari commando with 3 damage mods (proto only sadly) does roughly 33% more damage with rail weaponry. Use a tac sniper on it and just *shoot* things. You also have an incredibly robust arr / rr to back you up too.
For standard snipers, its really preference related. Some prefer scouts for the lower profile and higher speed, others prefer sentinel for their difficulty in being countersniped.
