It actually seemed appropriate.
Because, that's why.

If you're constantly being scanned, stick with a group. There is always safety in numbers. Also, scans shouldn't be the ones being fixed. It's the maps. They're too damn small and it encourages players to concentrate in one or two areas of the map which makes it predictable for scanner-role players. If the maps were vastly more open and sockets were spread out more evenly, then scanner players would really have to start guessing.
Think about it. If the maps are currently 5 km^2 and are limited in scope only by the redline, imagine if the redline were to ever be 2-3 times in current size for new maps. Imagine if maps like Fracture Road, Border Gulch, and Impact Ridge were one large battlefield merged into one.

Then it would become a problem for players who are dedicated scanners because they then have to be spread out thin and have a larger area to scan. And since even the farthest scanner can only see up to 150 km (max), each team will have to make a choice between bringing in more scanners (which means less dedicated slayers) and more slayers or scouts (which means less dedicated scanners).

I have to run a gimped fit because the scrublords need wallhacks? This needs attention How to escape from GalLogi Pro Active Scanners: On Caldari and Gallente Scout suits: Fit 1 Complex Dampener GÇö You still have up to 5 high/low slots left for other things. On Amarr and Minmatar Scout suits: Fit 2 Complex Dampeners GÇö You still have up to 4 high/low slots left for other things. On All Assault Suits: Fit 3 Complex Dampeners GÇö You Still have up to 5 high/low slots left for other things. And would you look at that, Assault suits and Cal/Gal Scouts have the same amount of high/low slots available for other things while dampened. Seems to me that you could dampen and scan them right back. Either they won't see you while you can see them or they'll switch to dampened suits and you'll be on even grounds with them or their GalLogi will switch to Focused scanners and you will be focked and/or forced to avoid being in the area he's scanning. Oh and if it is regular Pro Active Scanner (No GalLogi bonus) you can get away with 1 less dampener. ((^Entire Post^ Provided you have the relevant skills all the way up to 5)) the only problem here is that then my armour-tank is noob :(
Guys, we need to stop calling MU a 'matchmaker' when it's actually a 'teambuilder'.
And I want to play FE:A now. Damn.

I dodge scanners in my assault just by having dampening to 5 I think? toss on a complex pd and I dodge everything but proto. So I know if I'm getting scanned its a proto scanner and I act accordingly.
Mark a$$ tricks, and bags of dicks....
