How important is strafing if I'm 200 meters above ground on a tower firing my AR down below?
Should I just shoot at the enemy MCC? |

Should I just shoot at the enemy MCC? In that instance, I would suggest just jumping off and letting gravity take over. lol Hope you're well, Thor.
Same to you bud! |

Should I just shoot at the enemy MCC? Follow up question: Do you love being sniper bait? Haven't seen you post in awhile Thor. Hows it going?
Good man, busy trying to master all the stuff you posted above. I had a bad habit of ADSing too much.
Burst and hip firing have improved my 1 v 1 abilities quite a bit. I still have to clean up my strafing though.
My biggest problem as Leadfoot mentioned is not running when I should. Mastering a sidearm is also huge. |

Hey, I was in that squad!
Everyone wanted to try out an officer weapon. And it lasted for like 5 minutes. Jeez |

GET USED TO IT. The reason for this is simple, it makes you more reactive. When you get pissed about people being able to turn around on a dime, itGÇÖs because sensitivity is maxed. It requires better aim however, as minor adjustments can have large effects. But the increased ability to snap back and forth between targets, and the ability to quickly track running targets in ADS is godsend. So, getting used to a higher sensitivity is done in two ways. 1.)Slowly increase the current setting by 5 every day or so. 2.)Max it and play till youGÇÖre used to it. I prefer the latter. YouGÇÖll learn to love how snappy the controls are. This is the most cowardly and nooby playstyle of any fps. I refuse to ever alter my sensitivity because if I take three guys on from different directions and win, it's much more of an accomplishment than having high sensitivity. High sensitivity is for tryhards who get ridiculously enraged if they die even once. I do believe sensitivity options were added to fps games to compensate for bigger/smaller tv screens, not so that people can insta-turn. Ever tried insta-turning your entire body? Doesn't work. Yes, please ignore all of the tips presented and focus on the one thing that you don't like. I showed how controlling angles and using map awareness can help you take on three guys in different directions and win. It's an in game feature that is free to adjust. If anyone wants to, they can set it to max, or set it to zero. If there are advantages to running it at max, why shouldn't you? Because it makes you angry that people can jump and turn around really quick, if you botch your sneak attack? 100 Sensitivity won't save you as a sentinel if you're being shotgunned. It will save you if being shot in the back while moving from point to point. And yes, IRL, you can't just turn around that fast and start shooting. But this is a video game. I never said anything about the other tips, mainly because there's nought wrong with them. This one, however, is teaching bluebs bad game behaviour. Yes, it is an in-game feature you can adjust, but clearly you're going to be stubborn and refuse to acknowledge what I've already said on the matter of "Why it's in video games" As for me getting angry about botched sneak attacks? Never happens, because I never sneak. Scout w/knives or shotgun bores the living hell out of me. If you think higher sensitivity won't save your sent from a SG, then you're a pretty terrible sentinel fitter. With default sensitivity, I survive them frequently. Next you'll be teaching people how to camp and how to Murder Taxi.... So people shouldn't adjust their sensitivity because you think it was meant as a TV size adjustment?
I'll make sure to set mine back to default, I wouldn't want anyone calling me a glitcher. |

Tried to explain it, got a full paragraph about how I'm ruining the game. I even switched out halfway through and grabbed my sniper rifle. Sidenote: Spaceman-Rob wrote:

At least spell my name right. That's just rude. Yes and in that particular match you did ruin the game for me, I was just trying to have fun with a mate using adv gear, nothing to serious when along came a full squad of proto and officer wearing FA guys to stomp the **** out of everybody. Nobody on our team was in a full squad nor did I notice any proto gear being worn on our side yet for some reason you felt the need to try really REALLY hard to win. You fellas should be good enough by now to do well in a full squad without the need for all that nonsense don't you think? Or did you see me and the rest of my team as such a threat to your ego's?
It was actually a good match. I think we barely won to be honest.
In that situation with blueberries not doing much why shouldn't a squad bring out good gear to turn the match around? Granted we had no idea how the match would play out when we initially ran in, but still. It happens all the time, a good squad is doing all the work, basically 6 v 16 and it comes down to the wire. I just don't see what's wrong with that.
In the match you got so butthurt about it was nothing close to resembling a stomp.
