calisk galern BurgezzE.T.F General Tso's Alliance 2590	Posted - 2015.02.26 13:44:00 - [1] - Quote only game on the ps3 that almost gets me to plug it back in....sadly it's still not able to. by the sounds of it the game has gotten to some degree more interesting and it's really a shame this thing isn't being developed for the ps4. would be a hell of a lot better then destiny and ff14 for me. you could even use some of that next gen power to do the high-res textures and high poly models you so enjoy.

The PS3 is fast approaching that date. The PS4 is more powerful and supposedly easier to develop for. So many minor issues with this game could be improved by migrating it to PS4. I can Destroy where ever I go. Spending time with intelligent and interesting people is the core of my online experience. Dust had that. The corps I started or infiltrated always had A few people like me. For me gameplay has stagnated and cheapened. I sit in a channel and BS while I go about menial tasks around my home.

SOE would not allow a piece of garbage to run alongside a polished game that they own. Not saying I didn't enjoy my two years plus on Dust, but once I actually got back into other games and could see the flaws and problems that didn't exist on other games on PS3, it was evident I had wasted a lot of time. Now on ps4 and in PS2 closed beta, something about battles with 300 people, tanks, aircraft, real strategy needed to win, no edges to map or cheesy red lines to contend with. The battles are vicious and one recent battle lasted four days, with the base finally falling to the NC. Also great to play with and against some of the greatest players to ever grace the battlefields of Dust who have moved on, with their clans such as we did, it is all that Dust could have been but will never be. I know it's tough to move on but once you do, you will be very glad you did. See the rest of you in PS2 when open beta hits, going to be epic to say the least. The DEV's actually play with us too... I am Dust Free, found fun in gaming again,, Planetside2? Makes dust look like what it is, crap.

Especially when I first got proto and an assets refund. The game was broken but healthy in those days. New faces all the time, new corps too. I can tell when I'm playing noobs. And I know the vets can too. Slaughtering people who don't have a chance doesn't interest me.

Blacklight and Planetside would leave Dust only picking up the scraps if they were all on the same console. The real problem is both of these games have spent quite a bit of time developing on PC and then brought an optimized port over to PS4 giving them a massive advantage. CCP just needs to hurry up and bring along Legion so that we can see some real advancement in the sandbox and maybe some day make it back to console.

Forgot to mention Blacklight, not a bad game at all. The only thing that bothers me about it is the pay to win factor. However PS2 is definitely where it is going to be at. No, a more accurate analogy is that a football game that people are playing on a playing field filled with holes, used condoms, and broken syringes would be more fun if it could be played at the Rose Bowl in California instead. Even if the players (in this case, the devs) are still scrubs it would make everything more fun. Better hardware cant completely cover for bad design or bad code, but it sure helps, especially if one of the problems is memory leak issues, which it sure feels like for dust. Also the PS4 being easier to develop for can make a big difference when you are talking about a small development shop wth mediocre management.

At this point I would be happy to see the game go to PS4 or PC. Anything so we can bring more out of this lovely little yet struggling game. Dust would do itself a service to port to ps4, if only to clear up minor hiccups and toss a bit of polish on the game. Also open up to a new generation of console owners who havent been jaded by the pa3 experience. Unfortunately there is too much competition in the F2P FPS area on the PS4. Blacklight and Planetside would leave Dust only picking up the scraps if they were all on the same console. The real problem is both of these games have spent quite a bit of time developing on PC and then brought an optimized port over to PS4 giving them a massive advantage. CCP just needs to hurry up and bring along Legion so that we can see some real advancement in the sandbox and maybe some day make it back to console. Forgot to mention Blacklight, not a bad game at all. The only thing that bothers me about it is the pay to win factor. However PS2 is definitely where it is going to be at. Do I need to pay for online on the ps4 when playing f2p games? Or are they totally free?

There was again a much smaller spike of players that joined in Uprising. The first spike was greater than any other and this was primarily PC players coming from EVE online and others who first heard about the game through the PC community.
