So, for those of you with your head in the dirt:
New, upcoming event: 5M Clone Challange. If we complete it, we get, among other things, an event exclusive BPO.
Now, Frame has said that this BPO is "one of a kind," meaning that there isn't anything like it currently, and perhaps before.
I also think it won't be a dropsuit or weapon, since those won't apply to everyone (either needing to skill up something or won't be compatible with the suit). My guess will be that it's a module of some kind that will benefit for most/all suits.
The last piece of evidence comes from Rattati's post here. (Last sentence)

Oh sorry they just kept rereleasing it with other events and doing black friday stuff with it. was under the impression they were a one time thing only when the event was first held.

Rattati is talking about buffing Myofibrils which already exist.
Maybe they would give a Myo BPO, but it won't be something new just for jumping.

The skinweave sets were re-released during beta. Hence why I have 2 sets.

If it's a suit or weapon and everyone has one, there is no pride in running it.
I would probably be inclined to snicker when I see one or twenty of these event BPO's in a match.
Why does everyone want those ugly quafe strongbox BPO's? BC they are rare and can't be purchased yet. Once they go on sale no one will give a shiite anymore.
It's good for new players I suppose and maybe they will get a boner having an event BPO and stick with the game a little longer.

I don't even like the Black Eagle stuff. I've still got my 50 AR's from the Christmas event, and over 70 of the Scouts. I keep getting more from Daily Missions.

Miofib.... that is the melee damage mod.....CCP is considering either changing the effect to add jump height or both add melee and jump height...
One might say... I'm very skilled... yet I'm his apprentice... So what does that say about my mentor?

Im inclined to disagree about it being a module.
Unless as usual CCP ditches vehicle users and gives dropsuits something else to play with.

I wish they could find the time to reskin them (nothing garish) and seeing as standard BPO's are now well standard maybe upgrade them I would love to have an incentive to pull them out.
As an out there guess a new model that has come down from legion development for the "mordu legion" faction but that might be aiming a bit high |
