This means, all tank seats and the pilot seat of a Derpship. LAVs however should be usable for all suits. One might be discussing if heavy suits should be restricted to gunner seats in LAVs and DS, but I think that's a little bit too much. Pilot suits schould have rigging slots for vehicles, so you can put vehicle support modules in. These would influence cooldown or duration of active modules or increase efficiency of modules/weapons.

The LAV is not a specialty vehicle, and should not be restricted to only Pilot suits. Besides, Pilot suits would die quickly in an open vehicle. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.
