What is the HP tier for getting the triage bonus with a rep tool? Is it 60 HP or 80?
Also, what is the guardian bonus?
Watched a couple of logi youtube videos and thinking of giving DUST one more try after an extended break before I throw in the towel.
Hard to not be low on ISK so maybe logi for WP's as a noob?

A guardian bonus is when the healed gets a kill while being locked to your beam. It awards 35 WP.
Don't know the cap, but it shouldn't matter. Just heal whomever needs it, no matter how much.
Being a logi is more than just being a WP-***** sometimes. |

The guardian bonus is like 35WP for having the hungry hippo (that you're being a butt pirate for) eating someone.
Also being a logi is not exactly EZ mode, especially if you're low SP in it, as you're a bright yellow target that is generally understood as being a dangerous force multiplier yet slower and squishier then normal.
if you run out of WP generation and no longer receive rewards, you can reset this by merely killing someone, but this shouldn't be an issue really if played normally.

+35 guardian bonus and at least throw uplinks for WP's, you don't nec have to logi. Also good idea if you logi to squad up.

Dust needs more dedicated logis. They can be devastating if well integrated into a squad or team. Recent changes to bandwidth and scanning make this more true than ever.
That said, it's very difficult to run logi effectively and still make ISK. Sure you can make a lot of WP, but it's a very tough role to play isk-positive, IMO. The effective equipment simply costs too much.
If you want to make WP/ISK, I'd get an APEX suit (perhaps one of the logis if you're really set on that role), and run that after you die in your opening "fast suit with uplink". |
