Summary of Changes Since Fanfest 2014:
1. CCP Rattati took over development of Dust 514 but with a much smaller team. However, the team has proven to be quite efficient for its size given the ton of balancing changes that actually improved -- though not completely finished -- the game.
2. The warbarge -- at least the first phase of many to come -- has been introduced recently to provide players with a passive means of gathering materials for upgrading the warbarge, a damage bonus to primary weapons, manufacturing experimental weapons, and passive acquiring a little more ISK. But just like Planetary Interaction in Eve Online, the Dust warbarge is more of a setup-and-forget mechanic. But again, this is just the first phase out of many according to CCP Frame.
3. Cloaky scouts are no longer OP.
4. Simple Trading between players is actually coming pretty damn soon according to the new Trello Boards setup by CCP. Like... April/May soon.
5. Trello Board has been setup that lets us see a real-time update on the progress of Dust development and what features are likely to come and when.
I suggest you bookmark the following link: https://trello.com/b/R44szWCe/dust-514-development-roadmap
6. Planetary Conquest is slated to get an overhaul again pretty soon assuming it hasn't started already. This will also likely be in many stages like the warbarge. Again, keep an eye on the Trello Boards.
7. The loyalty store has seen some new additions. Might want to check that out.
8. Strongboxes and decryptor keys have been introduced to allow players with a means of upgrading their warbarge faster, a chance of getting AUR stuff without having to pay for AUR, some nice BPOs if you're lucky, some advanced/prototype gear, and some really nice officer suits that many would call "Absolutely OP" if it weren't for the fact that you can only get it from strongboxes.
9. Daily Missions have been introduced recently which also allow us a chance of getting decryptor keys, strongboxes, more components for upgrading the warbarge faster, and some AUR stuff while also earning ISK and SP in the process. Something to help make FW a little more bearable.
10. The Weekly SP Cap has now been majorly buffed to 750,000 SP per week and that's not including the SP you get from instant boosts offered for AUR (starting with 400 AUR at the cheapest) at the End-Of-Match screen.
11. You may or may not be happy for this, but Respecs are now offered for AUR. It resets your entire skill tree except for corp skills and you have to spend ISK again to purchase the skill books. Sorry, you can't select which branch of the tree to respec out of.
PS: FotM seems to slowly become non-existent these days.

The CEO of CCP let it slip that DUST 514 is actually profitable now, so keep spending that AUR!
That actually took me by surprise. I'm curious to see now which AUR item is driving the sales. I would say it's probably the Boosters.
