We are still holding the Minmatar in check militarily as well. There is little that should cause the citizenry of the Empire concern. Were it not for the CEWMPA sanctions and the treaties as a people have signed and to this day continue to observe in good faith the 24th Imperial Crusade could have pushed as far as Rens by now.

As yet I have no reason to believe the Caldari wish to betray out mutually beneficial alliance that has been so carefully forged and cultivated for so many years.

Well the Megacorporations have no real love for us and with Ishukone's efforts more recently to stabilise relations with the Federation perhaps rumours are not so unfounded.
Regardless your point holds true. The Faithful have nothing to fear from the Caldari....but the Gallente have everything to fear of the Minmatar.

If anything the caldari might be planning to join together the federation and the Republic for a war with the empire as you said earlier that relations between us and the state have started some progress. On a side note, the matrix couldn't take us in a war, their technology is too inferior.
Use your what little sense you have. Do you really think one of eight megacorporations, who has lesser influence within the state and having drawn the ire of the Patriots Bloc, actually has enough pull or influence to alter hundreds of years of bitterness and hatred in the span of two years based off of a project that has not even truly begun?

Where did I ever say that it was true, I merely said that I was told by a spy in the state that this was in the works, perhaps a closed curtain is in the eorks, not everything is as it seems, you amarrians should know that all too well (I'm talking about your attempt to conquer the Jove that disgraced your empire) BTW I was wondering how I could get in on some Templar gear, I really like the style of amarrian craftsmanship.
Good lord having heathens harping on about military failures, some 300 years ago, is particularly amusing and ironic.....
