It's a lot more complicated than that, there's a few different bloodlines & influences to each race.
Caldari = America, Japan, Russia. Though the caldari deny that the deties and civre are separate bloodlines they try very hard to prevent miscegenation between the two, the other race among the caldari is the achurans which are the primary Asian influence.
Amarr = An imperial hodgepodge, there are a lot of Mediterranean / middle eastern influences here. I believe their 'asian' bloodline is the Ni-Kunni
Gallente = A fairly large hodgepodge themselves, they draw a lot of influences from the French, other European nations and Koreans. A lot of minmatar live in the gallente federation, some of the more hardline minmatar are deeply resentful of the cultural annexation that the gallente are performing on them.
Minmatar = "Nordic" Nations like Iceland + tribal cultures like Africans and Polynesians. These are a lot of 'small' tribal cultures, It is worth noting that almost every minmatar is tattooed like a Maori, you can learn almost everything about an individual minmatar by 'reading' their tattoos from their names, their professions, their deeds, failed oaths etc.

I have only an elementary understanding of EVE lore though, so keep that in mind.
That's actually not a terrible way to describe the vherokior (pretty sure that's the right tribe). There was like 9 main minmatar tribes though and a huge amount of smaller ones. Each had their own cultural influences.
