If you do not yet know what i mean by re- implement, i mean trash all the stats. And redo all the stats, module, guns, suits, SP, and bonuses to better suit all of the problems that we are having at the moment.
Its a lot of work, but it would bring a lot of people back and fix a lot of problems that everyone has. So maul on it CCP.
Too much work for a team that consists of Rattati, Logibro, and Frame. Maybe a couple of more Devs, but that's about it while the rest are supposedly working on Project Legion. For a team that small, the amount of effort put into making a revived game might as well be better spent fixing the current one when you look at it from an efficiency standpoint.
Do you have any idea how long it will also take to implement it? At minimum, and this is just me being optimistic, a couple of years. And that's for testing new stats, new mechanics, new graphics, new everything. Not to mention overhauling the connection between Eve and Dust.
If you still want a revived version of Dust, wait for Project Legion.

Id like this too but it is entirely not feasible. Pray for LEGION to be a thing is my only advice to you. FVCK Legion! Long live DUST 514!!! And that mentality is why the game stalled for 6 months
Actually, it stalled for 6 months because of the Jita Riots of 2011 when over 1,000 players unsubscribed in protest of some changes in Eve Online which resulted in CCP having to layoff 20% of its workforce. This affected Dust directly because at the time the game was still in closed beta it was dependent on a budget for Research & Development before it was finally able to fund itself.

Philosophies around games last years seems to be really wierd. Meh im propably just too old for all this.
Keep in mind that CCP has never developed a first-person shooter before Dust. Eve Online wasn't their first game either and they never developed any other MMO before that. They started off by selling a board game that helped fund Eve development. Even had an equally rough beginning as well, if not worse than Dust did.
Now compare this to Ubisoft who had developed the likes of Assassins Creed for years before Unity was released.
Now, I'm not saying we should never criticize CCP for their mistakes as I believe that criticism is important, but we have to learn how to be constructive with our criticism. All too often I see people just go out on a limb and spew all kinds of hate towards CCP without ever being constructive. This is similar to the early day of Dust development back when the forums were dominated by hate-spewing players who hardly gave constructive feedback and posted doom and gloom all over the place. It drowned out all of the important critiques needed to be heard and then people wondered why CCP hardly listened to the players in the months prior to Fanfest 2014.
