 At one point in the game all of the weapons were "balanced", until CCP gave in and nerfed all the weapons at one point. This is the same vice versa. Even now MOST weapons are not OP at base damage. Below are reasons I know that weapons are OP.
 
 1) People stack damage mods, this is really bad when commandos stack on top of all the damage they get in the first place.
 
 2) The Warlords came out with the ammunition facility, which is basically another damage mod.
 
 3) Damage Mods are too easily "put on to" suits.
 
 4) Some weapons like the almighty shotgun are straight out unfair and OP.
 
 
 Below are solutions that can fix most of these problems above.
 
 If CCP only allow one damage mod per suit that can prevent stacking. That really helps when a commando, and scouts can stack damage mods and murder people making the TTK 2 seconds. This is what CCP is doing to tanks, do it to the dropsuits.
 
 Another solution would to be severely nerf damage mods. NOT 4% 5% 6%. If you got your profesince up you don't need four complex damage mods with your facility up to max. Make the damage mods standard 1%, advanced 2%, and prototype 3%.
 
 
 THIS HELPS ALL PLAYERS, NEW AND VET`S. SLAYERS ARE SLAYERS, BUT SHOULD NOT MURDER EVERYTHING IN 2 SECONDS. UMMM... REMIND YOU OF SOMETHING, "CALL OF DUTY". FIX IT CCP.

 And balance.

 Dear SG Butthurt,
 
 If you have been killed at 11m by a SG, then you were already wounded with very low remaining HP.
 
 A SG will do a little damage at that range, but only very little.

 Nope. Full heath. Obviously min scouts have low hp, mostly shield and SG gets shield bonus so this makes sense. The same was true when I had a cal scout. Even my dampened low hp Gal scout has been killed at close to 10 meters by SGs.
 
 My point is SGs can kill at more than the 5m shotgunners pretend is the only useful range of SGs. Especially since most shotgunners love the jump shot trick, which increases headshot potential.
 
 The range of shotguns is not really my problem. But the range, ROF and high alpha of the SG makes it too strong. The ROF or the damage should be reduced some.

Yet, nova knives offer more alpha, while SG is somewhat easier to use with less alpha but quicker strikes. Also, the effective range is 5-7m. Stop being technical with "Oh no!!! 10m!!". 10m, the bullets just drop.
