Basically seems like murder p0rn rather than suspenseful action.
Pretty much it. The Amarr don't hate the Minmatar.... we pity them. It's the commonly held belief that the religious purpose of our people it to culturally and militarily is necessary assimilate the lost aspects of mankind so that in time they can be bettered.
But I do see what you mean now reading it Kagehoshi...... does feel a little tame in some respects and excessively graphic in others. You also have a point about the enemies.

Specifically if I was going to attempt something like this the process would be simple (and I'll write it up later).
- We find out who we are dealing with and specific reason as to why my team was captured through careful use of drug induced psychological torture and religious rhetoric (this is especially useful when dealing with Sani Sabik). - Verify the information and locate where my team is being held. - Deploy to the region either using Dropships or via infiltrating scouts with Drop Uplinks while deploying armoured units to the area. - Breach and clear the rooms using standard issue multi-spectral flash bang grenades and sweep the rooms with Assault Scrambler Rifles with the intent to kill or secure my allies. Information leaks are not an option and my allies understand their duty to God and their people. - If such cannot be achieved and then we have them precisely where we want them. Breaching units mount up in fast moving LAV's to harry the enemy into position where entrenched HAV with simply fill their caravan/vehicles with fire using Dual Focused Pulse Lasers. - Once all enemies are dead we offer prayers of purification over their burnt husks and ritually cremate the bodies of our allies collecting their ashes to be returning to the Temple of Atash Amarr on Myherra.
Simple, ordered, disciplined, respectful of those who died to keep the peace and in keeping with PCLAS beliefs as a paramilitary fire cult.

Then you are failing in your spiritual duty to them.
The problem with young Amarr brought into the fold of immortality is that we are prone to the arrogance that marks the image of our people. You are called to a higher purpose and yet you choose to forsake that to pursue something so petty as hate?

I will consider your words. I used to hate peas but now, saturated in butter, they are quite tasty. |
