The first assassin dies from a charge shot to the throat, his vocal chords a seared boiling mess. I purposely overheat my Viziam melting the legs of his spotter. His agony is broadcast over his comms. I want them to hear him bawling and giving me info as I melt his face with my weapons discharge.
My plan was to get them moving. It worked. I cut off the incoherent blubbering with a savage downward boot. Proto stomp indeed. I pin another with my charge shot as he attempts to avenge his brethren. He dies as I vault his cover and cave his skull in with my side arm. Is that duct tape?
The last three hole up at a choke point. They try to concentrate fire on me. Fools. They get a perfectly timed Core for their trouble. It's a gory mess and the lone heavy that survives lobs a flay lock round at me. I swat it aside and boot a Minja corpse at him. Well...what's left of one that is. I close the distance in a heart beat. I grab his HMG and beat him to death with it.
When I enter the cells where my squad is being held I find nothing. No trace of them at all. This is going to be a long night |

LZ too hot, Damn it. Just then a large blaster opens up on me. My Faith protects me as a rush in and clear the turret. Scouts. They send scouts, pathetic. I could hack but I don't give away my position. I need intel.
My HUD reads "scan attempt failed". They have a general location. I reload on the move. Bypassing everything that is not an immediate threat I close with the MCC. I'll need a distraction. Perhaps I can hack one of these null cannons. First I need a to secure a dropship. My plans shift as I watch the haphazard formations mill about. These scum are unworthy of being my enemy.
I find a viper unguarded. I mark it's position on my tacnet. And head off to slay the rabble at the console for the null cannon. I find explosives. Stupid. We really need to conquer this vermin. They beg for it with every breath. Disarm, hack, rearm. Hope they like shrapnel. I added anything that wasn't bolted down in the room to the payload.
The viper is on the other side of a small squad. I let them pass Before I open fire. They die wondering what the smell is. I'd say it's cooked *****. On to the Command center in a dropship that might fall out of the sky. Their swarms are still defending against a threat I have yet to unleash. It's really like I am fighting monkeys or children. The whole Minmatar-hate aside (from what I understand, the Amarr don't actually hate the Minmatar, but believe they have noble and pure intentions in enslaving other races so they may assimilate them in their society for their own spiritual salvation), while this is a fairly decent entry, doesn't have much of suspense or excitement because your character is never in any real danger, and furthermore you make your enemies seem completely non-threatening. Basically seems like murder p0rn rather than suspenseful action.
Thank you. I had to make the character OP if he was to deal with a squad of Not to be reckoned with assassins. It was alot of fun to write. Plus I'm not done. Peons are easy kills I will get to the boss fight in the 3rd part. |

The last time I took real interest in dust was in open beta. I can't seem to get that spark, the one we all used to have, back. The citizens have become schmucks. Too self absorbed or butt hurt to experience it again. Atleast I meat people in game who can hold a conversation more interesting than "nuh uh". Even our CPM are like children playing in poop.
I will type it up soon. Thanks for showing interest. |

Pretty much it. The Amarr don't hate the Minmatar.... we pity them. It's the commonly held belief that the religious purpose of our people it to culturally and militarily is necessary assimilate the lost aspects of mankind so that in time they can be bettered. But I do see what you mean now reading it Kagehoshi...... does feel a little tame in some respects and excessively graphic in others. You also have a point about the enemies. I hate the Minmatar. Get that straight. |

Get that straight. Then you are failing in your spiritual duty to them. The problem with young Amarr brought into the fold of immortality is that we are prone to the arrogance that marks the image of our people. You are called to a higher purpose and yet you choose to forsake that to pursue something so petty as hate?
I will consider your words. I used to hate peas but now, saturated in butter, they are quite tasty. |
