PC changes upcoming... Yet a community based game, can't pull their fingers out and change it themselves
Wars are a joke, it's closer to playground bullying and name-calling ... Fighting each other then to meet up and ring for each other for/vs other corps
the SoP merge, and Kain Spero's return to negative-feedback show some teams are setting up to prepare take advantage of whatever changes deploy, who else is doing anything?? via Rust415 we have tried to bring in newer corps, but with the lack of even competition, it's tough Our focus at DMG is to play the game, win/losses trial and error are all a part of that ...
There is a greater number of active corps, but in reality there is a bare handful that can compete with the others At DMG we have had to reduce friendly attacks to -150 clones vs inexperienced teams as we were losing -40 And it left us getting re-ups we had not set or planned for, and in the end it just farms newer mercs The cycle continues, and there is no-one left to fight but the same mercs .... I am fearing, once changes settle, it will be 4/5 groups fighting it out, the rest being farmed
The changes sounded good, but seeing corps try to out-rank Duna corp before changes are even confirmed.. gives a strong indication, it won't get PC very far in the long-run .. again..

Well... I'd not call out the Corp for using their contacts to fill teams.. But.. The ringers who QQ about ringers, then in turn go and join ringer teams..
yeah.. they suck
I want to see more fights across the map, but the vets rallying to smash every team getting active will just put us back to the same old crap, again .. rather than encourage new blood to get involved everyone is so keen for the win and a paycheck in a damn video game, where no-one cares about either Teams refuse to bring less than 16 experienced PC mercs vs new teams, then complain about lack of good fights
I have a fool's hope some of you may see the grain of sense I have posted
Since getting active there are PC teams and Corps genuinely glad to see other teams active. I hope more of the Dust community can come to see that, more teams = more fights
It's getting to a stage where CCP will be forced to make changes against the PC vets wishes with current activity, I see little hope that that the community will not exploit more mechanics if CCP go ahead with the proposed changes, leading to the same players repeating the same cycle |
