These guys like to hang around structures of the same design of their ship that Cat Merc helpfully pointed out are half the size of his home country of Israel.
Those must be very small structures indeed. Or, you should choose your analogies more careful, less politically flavoured. EDIT: or Cat Merc should. How is using the size of the country he lives in as an analogy of size political? If it were me making the analogy I would use a state in the US because that's where I live. This post confuses me.
And me.

Maybe this is why they were saving the dust drones for??
Unlikely but not impossible. Beyond the fact that we know the now suddenly exist....their actual purpose in New Eden is unknown, their numbers are unknown, beyond they significantly more advanced military capabilities no one knows how many their are or even if they have the numbers to mount terrestrial assaults.
It would be truly terrifying if they somehow could strike at planetary targets as well.

If such is the case they'll likely be superior soldiers to most of us......

Also true and this is confirmed (as opposed to the podding which is still rumor)
They're here for the Implants!
They weren't what we thought they were and now an all powerful alien entity has come into out universe seeking the only surviving copy of the last season of Gossip Girl that was encoded on the original...... **** we are really in for it once they realise we taped over it.

To sink a Paladin like that is kind of shocking. Seems like in the second clip he had Bastion module running to be able to take down one of the ships but that must have been after it had fired its Doomsday weapon.
For those who have fought them before it is possible to not take any casualties and take one down?

That may not even be the worst of it. Since we know next to nothing about the nature of their weapons as well I've heard all sorts of wild theories including Anti-Matter Particle Streams.....

I doubt it. Very much so doubt it.

Takahiro Kashuken wrote:Looks like the OP did not read 'The Empyrean Age' which basically does explain all this and the new super weapon that you are only just seeing.
In fact the Amarr empress Jamyl Sarum had access to this weapon and used it to hammer back the Minmatar fleets who had decended on the throne worlds to rescue a long forgotten race of Minmatar who were thought to have been extinct.
A possibility though that is not IC knowledge. Sadly the super weapon has been destroyed by heretical/heathen intervention which if I am not mistaken cause the Isogen-5 disasters on Seyllin and other planets.
Still nothing to suggest the Drifter weapons and the super weapon the Empress used are of the same origin.

That I actually significantly doubt. If the results of the conflict at Pike's Landing showed us anything it is that it takes a combined fleet of the Ishukone Megacorporation, the Federation, and Mordu's legion to present a hindrance to a detechment of the Golden Fleet.
Elmund Egivand wrote:
Yeah, not a full force. Of the Amarrian Golden Fleet, more like. How do you explain the Pike's Landing incident then? Last I hear, it took the Matari AND the Fed AND Mordu's Legion AND Ishukone's Fleet to present a roadblock for a small detachment of the Golden Fleet for whatever it was they were trying to achieve there.
When this man give the Amarr credit for anything you know he means it.
While the Drifter's do have significantly more developed technologies the fact still remains that the Golden Fleet is more or less the most powerful Empire Fleet that has existed to this date. If we cannot hold them at bay then no other force in the cluster is likely to have the power to do so.
Personally I would rather work with the other Empires if it means protecting the Amarrian people both present and future.
