So I'm a bit of a noob tanker again, having not really played for months and months while vehicles and AV weapons got changed around. It's weird now, but I'm quickly getting the hang of it again.
Anyway, that's not the point.
I tanked in Chromosome, and we were pretty godly back then (mainly cos we were scaled pretty strongly to PRO AV and no-one had PRO AV, but eh) and in mid-to-late Uprising we were overpriced and undereffective, and then in Uprising 1.7 we were literally unkillable, and also really cheap, and now it seems to me, playing on both sides of the equation (incidentally, Alldin's FG is awesome) HAV and AV balance is pretty slick. (and wow, that was a big sentence.)
Swarms don't bother my hardened Gunny all that much, but when it clocks off I'm buggered. Same with forges. Careful use of terrain keeps me alive. Careless overextension kills me.
What's the big deal?
Guys, we need to stop calling MU a 'matchmaker' when it's actually a 'teambuilder'.
And I want to play FE:A now. Damn.

I honestly don't see it as a problem, considering that rails (which are still superior turrets, I think) and blasters (which are about to get a buff) are both anti-shield weapons (unless they fixed that little bug, in which case I retract my complaint.
But still, the problem with Madrugar isn't AV weapons, it's the utter absence of decent fitting options. You can't make a good Madrugar not because armour is worse, but because the hull is terrible.
On the whole, though, while Madrugar is absolutely pretty garbage right now and could use some tweaking, I really want to emphasise that the problem is NOT AV.

gonna buy a respec for it xD
but that still isn't the point; Madrugar needs a buff, AV doesn't need a nerf.

Looks like parity to me since the forge and PLC both have isentical profiles but reverse. If we introduce a few more for variety then things get interesting.
UHAVs are probably going to be a lot harder to kill with infantry AV. Parity is great and all except for the bit where I pull in my max skills HAV w/ STD smalls and proto LRG and then you can't ever solo me ever.
Which is the problem I'm seeing with the new HAVs.
I could be convinced otherwise, depending on the execution, but I'm reserving judgement.

I admit, I've been away, but I've been tanking a little every day for the last two weeks now, and I really don't see the problem.
