Who decided it was a team game?
Since some people say it is team game I will treat it as such, However They are probably in the minority and I really don't get where there certainty comes from. When you have a group of people with a common goal teamwork is important and rewarding but there is no solid reason to think dust is actually supposed to be that type of experience, that type of experience is not hard to find, in fact it should be a big part of your life.
If you call someone a "mercenary" or a "warlord" then isn't it obvious you are saying they are NOT a team player? Sure the game has teams but what is wrong with assuming the reason there are teams is to make the game interesting because the point of games is to be interesting?
Some people have just decided the opinion "there are teams so it must be team game" is right and the opinion "It is a game and games are supposed to be fun" is wrong. I am sorry, but those people should not expect people to treat baseless decisions as solid facts, I will treat it as team game to spare myself reading irrational garbage. |

So you agree with the obvious point I made in the OP about teamwork, Why do that.

You also agree with obvious point about teamwork I made in the OP, I also ask you why bother pointing out teamwork can be good in certain circumstances.

Yes teamwork can be good, I will not deny that , however why assume everyone wants it all the time, As for my point about warlords I think it still stands. "Colin Powell the team player" does NOT mean the same thing as "Colin Powell the Warlord"

Colin Powell solo would be completely useless. So there's that[/quote]
That is not my experience of the game, To me it seems very different to a game like left 4 dead, I will start playing it that way to keep people happy.
As an Amarr logi I play solo and do OK even with appalling skills, you just have to know the maps well and know where to put uplinks and how to defend from those naughty scrub scouts until a decent scout or heavy eats you. I my last 5 games I was averaging 1200WP and in 2 of the games I got more WP than any other player. |

Doesn't sound like a team game at all I mean come on, look at the similarities between dust and a non-team game, like golf, or bowling. They are basically identical Are you being serious? Did you read the opening post? |
