What I am getting at is squad based gameplay trumps solo.
You can still do everything you do solo in a squad. Except waste your wp and be useless on comms. If you want to improve your chances of winning join a squad.
I suppose you could still be useless on comms, but why would you?

I play solo often but still support the team in almost every action I take. This is not to say I'm not on team chat. I am also always looking for a squad to bolster.
We are mercenaries in the sense that we get paid. We are excellent mercenaries when we win. Top the leader boards and keep our losses down. It is much easier to do this in squad.
If you are having trouble finding a squad you can enjoy type Darken into your chat finder. There are plenty of decent folks there. The wolves will pick you up if your not a douche.

We have Intel officers. A guy who can check the map for gunfire, troop movement, and vehicles. He can be in the red line or we can watch his back. Either way it's a highly important role. Before we had a zero tax he got paid from the xorp.

Yes teamwork can be good, I will not deny that , however why assume everyone wants it all the time, As for my point about warlords I think it still stands. "Colin Powell the team player" does NOT mean the same thing as "Colin Powell the Warlord"

My uncle was in desert storm. He told me as a squad leader all he had to do was watch for movement and fire a few tracers. The whole squad would turn and fire until no movement. I tried this with a Lazer commando to great effect. Concentrated fire is op.
