I'm able to post just fine on my PC, but I'm unable to log in on my tablet: it takes me to store.playstation.com, which comes up as 404 not found. Someone else I play with is having the same problem. He also said various other forums are experiencing the same problem. Has Sony told you guys anything about this? If so, any idea when more people will be able to log in?

CCP Frame has addressed this.
Whatever device you are logged into on the forums .....DONT log out. Even if you wanted to check your help tickets you can't becuz it requires a login.
