If u have Eve online and u go to the search tab, u can find a bunch of awesome stuff like drone hives lvl 1 2 n 3, drone hmg, adv drone ar. Etc there was a huge bunch of awesome s#-;;-#, just ccp really knows what the heck happened.

Yes, and then Fanfest 2014 happened. Watch that video in chronological order after the usual cumfest CCP likes to spl**ge out during their presentations and you'll get a sense of how they do things.

Well CCP Etern (misspelled) did mention a while back that Pve was not going to be implemented in Uprising but in a "future expansion"

This is all just my opinion now.
People talk about Fanfest 2014 but it was this keynote in 2013 that completely knackered Dust 514 in terms of perception. Don't get me wrong, Brandon is a nice guy and was super enthusiastic about Dust 514 but there's a reason why he left the position of Dust's EP a few months after this keynote. Most of it was aspirational bollocks and completely undeliverable in the time frames spoken about.
The promises made in this keynote were totaly unrealistic and the unfortunate consequence of them is that many on this forum are still holding CCP to a lot of them.
We've since then made real, tangible progress in the game and are working to a realistic and open roadmap. That's not to say MTAC's, jets and speeders won't make it into the game, never say never and all that but it's highly unlikely.
The 2013 keynote is very much a product of the Dev team management regime at the time. Please be aware of that when watching it. Don't take it a promise is all I'm saying.

Well, I both agree and disagree. At the time, correct me if I'm wrong, the development team was much bigger. I clearly remember the ideas behind that whole scenario, which was actually great! They did a major mistake in my opinion: in fact, they didn't release the whole set of new vehicles and classes, all in once, but little by little.
So that, Logi "I cannot die" Lavs didn't have any counter, but in the general concept, in the unreleased vehicles/class they had a counter and a purpose.
Same goes for logi Dropships and so on (remember the AA tank?). It surely was an exaggerated survivability for logis things in general, but with the right nerf on them, it would have made sense.
Speeders and jets didn't seem so far to me: the model was already there, the animation was already there, they tested jets in the early development phases and was simply great.
What they needed: a guy like Rattati at the internal game design, but without abandoning the entire ship to its destiny. The concept was and still is great. It is finally a revolutionary FPS by any means, poorly developed on the main FPS aspect: frames per seconds, server stability, net code and so on. It's like you made the most wonderful orchestra composition on paper, but you can't play any instrument: nobody can hear how wonderful that composition is!

They pushed that to Legion. And I guess Legion will come around in a year or two, when CCP finally stops development on Dust. But of course they won't talk about Legion right now as this may pull away players from Dust.

from the ideas banded around at the time it sounded very similar to Battlefield Bad Company 2 - Onslaught mode.
basiclaly you get plonked on a map, have to get to first point and clear the drones out, move onto the next until all NPCs are eliminated and you received isk/salvage ect. would have been a great NPE mode where vets and noobs could go to let them get used ot controls and play tactics without being stomped by all the tryhards
