Post, eg just after battle.
Feel free to describe why you left the vehicle in the first place
and how you felt about that petty thievery.

I called in my Quafe Saga (not BPO) and started plugging in my controller, I get my controller plugged in and then it's gone. Thankfully my hero, Clone D, destroyed it and the thief. Thanks CCP. |

in a rail tank getting shot by a swarm launcher,
so i get out kill the nasty merc and random blue jumps in and drives into enemy red zone.
5 seconds later BOOM no tank. |

I think your vehicle should be locked to anyone not in your squad
Perhaps give players who are not in your squad the ability to hack in to your vehicle ( a very fast hack)
I hate when I use my dropship and I'm either trying to put links down or clear them and some idiot jumps in and takes off.
I've had very similar situations with jeeps as well
Boosting : Allowing the server to protect people from other countries from taking damage

Moment ago:
Saga-II for my squad to blitz objectives was stolen while hacking point.
Saga-II was replaced by a militia LAV.
Afterwards, I witness the Saga-II suicide crashing onto neatly parked LAV blowing them both.

My buddy calls in a DS on the enemy side of the map for an evacuation. I'm cloaked, and the DS is deployed. Reds are closing in, firing wildly and hoping to hit me before I get in.
I hug the sides of the DS, having to wait 5 seconds to get in. Half a second after the indicator shows I can get in - before I'm able to get in - I get sniped.
Please buff my Magsex. It doesn't hit hard enough...

I was recalling my 600k Gunnlogi in my redline.
Later this blueberry that was on the enemy team previous match passes by with an LAV and sees me in the process of recalling mt Tank. He pushes me off my place by ramming me with his LAV, gets in my Tank and drives deep into the redline.
I lost 600k because someone was feeling like a troll. This is why we need vehicle locks. I don't care what Rattati says about "teams should share assets" no. This has happened to me way too many times. This is not sharing. That is sabotage.

True. Not enought that you are vulnerable and totally defenseless to enemy fire while dropping OB - you can be robbed at the same time.

Pulled up to a very hot enemy point on line harvest in my hack suit (3x comp code breakers).
Just as I jump out, a blue spawns in on my mCRU.
As I start hacking, gun fire all around me, I notice said blue is on the turret and start shooting.
"Cool! Cover from a random!" I say as I finish the hack.
I turn to jump in my LAV but watch in disbelief as it is driven away. I don't even bother to raise my gun as the group of reds decend on me and light me up

I just want RFID Or some such module I could choose what I Lock.
Sometimes I drop a bunch of somas and sicas for the recruits. While hilarious seeing them trying to figure out how to get in it would be unproductive.

Was in my tank sometime back.
Get out to hack an objective, and some noob gets in. I was lucky to get back in as a gunner, and proceeded to watch as he was driving it around. A swarmed was encountered, I watch as the noob tries to hit the swarmed with the blaster. I couldn't hit the dude with a small blaster enough since he was behind that wall that only shows the enemies head. I watch as the noob just sits there taking swarm after swarm...
My tank died, but only after the guy jumped out. Freaking **** bag...

kill after kill, raining down missiles of doom from my ds on the mushroom map, av shows up so i hop out and place uplinks (accepting my ds was dead), but by some miracle the said av stopped, so i hopped back into my gunner seat continuing to rain misery, blue spawns i pump triangle ferociously trying to get in pilot seat, too late we take off, i continue my barrage blueberry sees enemy ds he tries to ram it.........he misses, we smack the wall full speed and die instantly in fiery wreckage. 37/1 cause of blueberry ruining my perfect game........................................................................,,,,,, we need locks

In my rail gunlogi, just killed 2 tanks I see a red berry with a SL, I get out of vehicle and killed redberry, wasn't gone for 4 seconds before I noticed blue berry steals it... and dies in a fight against a sica... |

I like how the square button is completely free while in a vehicle.
PUSH SQUARE TO LOCK A VEHICLE
squad members should still be able to pilot. I'm sick of bandaid fixes for all of dust's problems because It means we'll never get a proper fix.
That said I haven't had my vehicle stolen in a while and I'm happy to have a player pilot my lavs while I gun as long as they don't go for roadkills until they crash and burn. If you hold a blaster lav steady it's deadlier than a railgun. |

Yesterday I jumped out of my ship to drop some links, when my ship tilted and pancaked me. Spawned back on the link to a blueberry flying up 500 feet and skydiving back down.
Rest in pieces little feller.....
I took my anger out on the rest of team....... Put drop uplinks over acid death traps, played bumper cars with dropships, ect. ect

EDIT: I'm gonna list my cases here as they happen. Not gonna list the cases of the past, the list would be gargantuan. But I want to show also the rate of how often this is a problem. no more fun, splah damage removed from railgun, missilistic is Op, blaster is useless, redline turrepts with 12k HP, all this compared to old tanks slot layout and skill tree make me feel better when i forgegun someone in cqc

Oh I was thinking about lavs and dropships with no gun...
I think X might be free, but I could be wrong again. After some thought, I think the module wheel should have some lock options on the bottom. |
