I doubt it'll ever be ready for PC - it's not even due to a lack of talent, just ambition. If you have no desire to push and get more then nothing will ever come your way.

That's what makes HvLP great - there's always something else to achieve and do, and it's not just pub stomping scrubs.

Yea the chances are maybe 5% like the pc I played with u u guys were using std and Alex suits I'm sorry but u will never stand a chance vs any corp in pc if u use those suits heck some1 on Y.A.M.A.H was using a militia mass driver

It doesn't matter 0.H has sum of the best players in dust if u want to be successful u need 16 guys who have full proto core upgrades maxed out who have experience I can't name 1 guy who has any of those

After PC Launched OH became competitive 2 months later.

OH was formed shortly before PC's launch - so I'd say 4 months it took them.

And to be honest, I doubt you'll ever reach that level of competitive play. When I rang for you guys there was cussing out loud and members disrespecting each other in ways that if any of that **** was directed to me or any ringers with us YAMAH would of never seen land in PC again.

It was just plain horrible, and some of your guys had the gall to get upset at me for getting upset with a guy calling his own corp trash.

Loyalty is fine and all - but that sort of blind loyalty leads to nothing but crushing defeats and watching others rake in rewards as you continue to hope for a better future you're not fighting for. :P

Another thing, threads like this aren't going to help you grow. If I were looking for a corp and saw this thread I would be instantly turned away. Be careful what you put on the forums. It will come back to bite you in the ass later.

I disagree, any corp with a face to the community is already making the right steps - no one wants to join a boring corp that doesn't get out there and do stuff.

Threads like these are good advertisements that your corp is active and out-going.

Well, the first thing you see in this thread is one of their top guys (I'm assuming he's a top guy) looking for another corp. If it's a good corp why would you have guys wanting to leave? Then you read on and hear about how they're pulling out of pc and waiting around. I'm just saying this would turn me away from joining.

YAMAH when you really start playing this game you'll get into flame wars like this too - it's the best part of Dust <3

Or you'll be like 'those' corps who never have any fun and just 'play for friends'.

The forum sucks for recruitment. The best way to recruit is to get out there and squad up with different people and if you get along talk em into joining

His intentions was to leave Y.A.M.A.H anyway. That person is Abraxsas Starmen, Blaziken. I heard everything that went on in that PC battle, as I wasn't available to be in it. I was there later that night and heard about this Sota Pop! I've came to realize who cares of sota's opinion anyway! Secondly it wasn't Sota or golden that got him out the corp. Abraxsas has a problem with leaders in any corp. He has major issues and catch's attitudes very easily if things didn't go certain ways! So like what would have been him getting kicked out the corp he ended up leaving and blocking or deleting us that was on his friends list that is in Y.A.M.A.H

Ok so in my forum absence, apperently a lot has happened. First off, nobody cares what Sota thinks because Sota generally doesn't have anything good to say about anyone except himself. He act's like a smart a** teeenager that sits on his butt playing video games all day so I don't have time for his ill-informed and negative trash talk, so I try to ignore everything he says because most likely it's bull sh*t.

Secondly, everybody is misunderstanding everyone. We are not about proto stomping everyone or being even remotely close to being as good as 0.H, but we have a lot of fun and we trust each other and respect each other a lot. I don't also don't have time for everybody's comments on our PC play. We have played a total of 3 REAL PC battles as a corporation, so there's going to be a TON of confusion and a lot of losing. If you expect us to be totally PC ready in 3 battles then you're a total moron. We have one district that we practice with. PRACTICE. Get it? Practice makes you better. The only way to get better at PC, is to play PC, and that's what were in the process of doing: getting better. It's that simple.

Our slow growth has done nothing but help us. We have had time to get to know each other and play with each other a ton and it helps us a lot on the battlefield. A skyscraper starts with building a stable, solid foundation or else it falls, just like some corps have done recently. To Sota, you're "talent but no ambition" is completely absurd. You played one battle with us, our first PC ever at that. Your comments have no real argument because you're not even apart of my corporation.

We're slowly improving our PC play, and we're still getting active members. It's a long road, but with a lot of TALENT and AMBITION I'm sure we'll get there

So everyone has no ambition....Pretty generalized there. I have ambition but I'm also not going to make Dust 514 my whole life. there are people out there who like to live their life outside of dust, and there are others who refuse to spend money on a free-to-play game (like me) . I'm a Y.A.M.A.H. member for life because of friends, if you leave a corp for a big-name corp with better players. what does that say about yourself? Yes I will admit that we are far from PC ready, but I don't do too bad for only having a lifetime SP of around 8mil. Good things come to those who wait. if anything, I game because of my friends, not because I have to be the best of the best and in the best corp out there. I do respect the players who decide to move on because that is their choice. Isn't laughing at a loss better than rage quitting? I was not there for the PC that I guess went horrible but I can say that I don't take everything serious. New Eden is a place of fiction, some people take it too seriously in my opinion.

You're confusing optimism with ambition.

And nothing good comes to those who wait, that's just plain lazy. That line only works if you're waiting for something to happen.

Even in a game if you aren't willing to get a little serious then you should just expect to be walked on by those who try - and being serious doesn't take away from the game, at all. It adds to the fact that you're building something with others when you see them take it seriously.

But isn't optimism the same as ambition in this context? We are currently trying to build up our skills and our numbers something an ambitious person might do in a game supposedly centered around teamwork.

Currently isn't all of PC waiting for PC 2.0 to drop? Should we instead plunge ourselves too deeply into a gamemode that is currently queued for a major overhaul?

As for your last point well you are correct. Its better to laugh and learn than to get angry at people (cough Abraxas) that are quite frankly better prepared than us.

We will get there eventually why rush and risk losing our friends because they got frustrated over something silly as a few losses.
