Give me your best shot. Aren't you tired of being in a group whose idea of progression is laugh at how hard they get beaten?
Aren't you willing to join a team who fights with each other as well as for each other?
There's a reason many corps fight to stay in PC - it creates a bond that only victories can bring. Don't miss out on the experience to stay loyal to a group whose idea of competition is pubs.
Join HvLP today and find out what it really means to be a mercenary.
How's that? :)

Was completely serious - YAMAH's more of a stepping stone corp.
I doubt it'll ever be ready for PC - it's not even due to a lack of talent, just ambition. If you have no desire to push and get more then nothing will ever come your way.
That's what makes HvLP great - there's always something else to achieve and do, and it's not just pub stomping scrubs.

But my belief is that Y.A.M.A.H will one day be on par with Outer.Heaven. We are a young corporation and have much to learn about the ways of PC, but we do have districts that we defend. However our CEO has officially taken us out of PC except for defending our district because he wants to wait until we have more active players. I'm sorry but 0uter.Heaven is one of the best corps in dust history Im sorry but I doubt u will ever get close to them u are a good corp, but the chances are slim to none So you admit there is a chance for us. A chance is all I need. How long did it take for 0.H to become a great powerplaying corp? Well I will wait that long for Y.A.M.A.H to be that, even if it take s a long time. After PC Launched OH became competitive 2 months later.
OH was formed shortly before PC's launch - so I'd say 4 months it took them.
And to be honest, I doubt you'll ever reach that level of competitive play. When I rang for you guys there was cussing out loud and members disrespecting each other in ways that if any of that **** was directed to me or any ringers with us YAMAH would of never seen land in PC again.
It was just plain horrible, and some of your guys had the gall to get upset at me for getting upset with a guy calling his own corp trash.
Loyalty is fine and all - but that sort of blind loyalty leads to nothing but crushing defeats and watching others reek in rewards as you continue to hope for a better future you're not fighting for. :P

And yet the more you wait the good players will grow impatient and leave for a corp that's already established ^This

When we get into competitive PC that will just be another plus for them to stay. I know for a fact I have no intention of leaving Y.A.M.A.H anytime soon. how much SP do you have?

Golden Day took care of it when he was still with you guys - whoever that rager was, he apparently left your corp because of me.
You can thank me later :)

Be careful what you put on the forums. It will come back to bite you in the ass later. I disagree, any corp with a face to the community is already making the right steps - no one wants to join a boring corp that doesn't get out there and do stuff.
Threads like these are good advertisements that your corp is active and out-going.

Better then advice from a guy who needs 10 ringers after 2 years to be competitive in PC.

YAMAH when you really start playing this game you'll get into flame wars like this too - it's the best part of Dust <3
Or you'll be like 'those' corps who never have any fun and just 'play for friends'.
Don't be one of those guys. Have fun with the rest of us :)

I'm a Y.A.M.A.H. member for life because of friends, if you leave a corp for a big-name corp with better players. what does that say about yourself? Yes I will admit that we are far from PC ready, but I don't do too bad for only having a lifetime SP of around 8mil. Good things come to those who wait. if anything, I game because of my friends, not because I have to be the best of the best and in the best corp out there. I do respect the players who decide to move on because that is their choice. Isn't laughing at a loss better than rage quitting? I was not there for the PC that I guess went horrible but I can say that I don't take everything serious. New Eden is a place of fiction, some people take it too seriously in my opinion.
Happy Clone Hunting!
You're confusing optimism with ambition.
And nothing good comes to those who wait, that's just plain lazy. That line only works if you're waiting for something to happen.
Even in a game if you aren't willing to get a little serious then you should just expect to be walked on by those who try - and being serious doesn't take away from the game, at all. It adds to the fact that you're building something with others when you see them take it seriously.

But isn't optimism the same as ambition in this context? We are currently trying to build up our skills and our numbers something an ambitious person might do in a game supposedly centered around teamwork. Currently isn't all of PC waiting for PC 2.0 to drop? Should we instead plunge ourselves too deeply into a gamemode that is currently queued for a major overhaul? As for your last point well you are correct. Its better to laugh and learn than to get angry at people (cough Abraxas) that are quite frankly better prepared than us. We will get there eventually why rush and risk losing our friends because they got frustrated over something silly as a few losses. PC 2.0 isn't the big change everyone is hoping for - all it is doing is replacing ISK purchases with Corp Point purchases and limits what a smaller populated corp can do - and the addition of raiding mechanics that may introduce 8v8.
None of that matters if you can't win your games, the same groups and players will always be playing because of lack of ambition.
And you hurt your own players by never improving as a team, what Dust really offers is all found in Plantary Conquest - the true game mode of Dust, and you're limiting what your corp mates are going to be able to do in this game by waiting for things to come your way instead of grabbing them. Don't you want to help them get rich and enjoy matches where blue berries aren't ruining things for you? Play with and against other players who just want to be the best that they can be?
If you're truly a group of friends - losses won't matter. Keep it up and keep learning and it won't take long for a bad group to become very good, it's part of the beauty of Dust.
