I've noticed something odd with matchmaking and I wonder if it happens to anyone else.
It's fairly common for me to play a game or 2 before I go to work in the mornings so rough time frame is 8-8:45 am mon-fri (Eastern, NA server), and for the most part those are the best and most balanced games I get all week. My thought would be low player count is off set by most of the players at that time being 'vets' of a sort, I don't have any proof of this it's just a random thought. A good 75% of my weekend matches are terrible one way or the other, I find being on the stomp'er side almost as bad as the stomp'ee, I don't know about everyone else but I enjoy being pushed to play better. Now shouldn't the higher player count on weekends mean more choices for team building and therefor better teams?
Unless Mu doesn't delineate between a corp squad and a "squad finder" squad... which it probably doesn't... question answered... maybe that should get looked into... oh well I wrote this all out might as well click 'post'.
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair.

Team Building can only work with the inputs Scotty serves it. ~32 players are picked by Scotty the Matchmaking AI (not Team Building). Team Building receives those 32 players and outputs 2 teams. You would still think even arbitrarily grabbing players, more people would mean less chance of horrifically one sided teams rather than more. I'm at 5 games today and 1 has actually been a battle, and that's not even counting the few battles I've got tossed into and immediately left, those were; 4 pt skirm (red had all 4, we were lined) blue; clones=23, armour left=1/4 red ; clones=89, armour left=4/5
Dom (we were lined) blue; clones=86, armour left=1/5 red; clones=123, shields=missing 3 bars
And those aren't the worst games I've seen just the two most recent, for a game that's what 3 years in that basically shouldn't happen.
