I have a Covenant C-1 and would like to use. I have an Amarr Logi which I consider a viable assault but I need tips on fitting
Amarr Logi as an Assault
and
Caldari C-1 Assault
Amarr A-1 Assault
I am wary of leveling up the Amarr Assault, why? Simple, I find the Scrambler rifle the easiest for me to use even on a bad day

Yes standard. I have killed many a proto suit with standard gear my friend
Also like I learned from Min scout, for me its a waste to skill above standard unless in a Logi as I get bored too easily with a role

Well none really, what's the point in skilling into something when you not doing it for the bonuses. Might as well proto the basic suits.

I dont think that you understand my question.
I want to fit all three at standard and start looking at which I will invest more SP into.
Even if I invest SP, I will sadly be running standard a lot lol

Don't use the logi as an assault. That suit is more like a heavy with scout eHP.
I like the Caldari more simply because it's fun, but the Amarr is a pretty damn good suit. |

Caldari, buncha extenders plus a recharger or energizer in the highs, if I recall it has one low, so a regulator or a armor rep. I recommend the regulator.

Which is no different than a Basic Frame really.
The/my problem with Caldari suits other than the Scout is that their base statistics suuuuuccckkk. The Scout is the only one that has good shield stats. The Caldari Assault doesn't 'do anything' special. People will advice having the shield recharge quickly and pop out and shoot people with a long range weapon but there is NOTHING stopping an Amarr Assault from doing the same thing really. The Assaults, as a whole, need a massive rework maybe even to the point of completely ignoring EVE in favor of balance that works for DUST.
I would go with the Amarr Assault if the choices are between Amarr Assault/Logistics and Caldari Assault/Logistics. It actually has a nice benefit with the Scrambler Rifle which is quite a good weapon. The bonus on the Rail Rifle is laughable, plus the weapon is not as useful as the Scrambler a lot of the times. Scrambler has similar range, isn't as bad in CQC, and has the Charged Shot mechanic. If you truly want to go Assault, the Minmatar Assault is likely the best. It doesn't suffer too much in the HP department compared to the other suits, the speed difference is quite noticeable, and the bonuses are great. Minmatar Assault is likely the best Assault and even than I am not a fan of the entire Assault tree.
If you are thinking of going Logistics, I HIGHLY recommend Minmatar or Gallente. Having three Equipment at basic level is insanely useful.

Standard Amarr Logi doing Assault stuff:
HIGH
GåÆ 2x enhanced shield extenders
LOW
GåÆ 2x enhanced armor plate (726 eHP, 2.5HP/s, 6.16m/s)
or
GåÆ 2x complex reactive plates (616 eHP, 8.5HP/s, 6.56m/s)
or
GåÆ 2x complex ferroscale armor plates (649 eHP, 2.5HP/s, 6.69 m/s)
WEAPONS
GåÆ STD Scr
GåÆ STD [breach] SMG
GRENADE
GåÆ STD personal preference (mine is flux)
EQUIPMENT
GåÆ STD RemoteExplosive
GåÆ STD personal preference, depends on CPU/PG leftover and unwillingness
to complex the shield modules out or go complex damage mods
Overall nice, STD nade and low slots can even be fitted MLT,
making your suit even more economically viable (8-12k ISK).
My personal preference is:
LOW
GåÆ complex ferroscale plate
GåÆ complex profile dampener

Amarr assault FTW!
The amarr logi isn't a good assault suit. It'll be as good as a STD one in terms of eHP if you go proto with it. If you want to play assault, use assault ;)

I am already skilled into Amarr Logi. I really love the sidearm haha. Like I said in another thread, my analog sticks are laughable so I cant even regular strafe properly. I did enjoy the shield regen in the C-1 and miltia caldari heavy frames thoughs

Strafing with amarr dropsuits only works with other amarr dropsuits. Well atleast in my experience,because being amarr means being a moving wall,durable but can be outsrafed by almost everyone..............You're a gorgeous wall might I add
How many amarr does it take to change a light bulb? none. The minmatar do it for them

A massive rework is too much. This could simply be fixed some adjustments to the Caldari Assault Suits. They're supposed to be capable of mobility but usually hold positions, ala their nanohives.
