Power creep is starting to take these things by storm.
First it was starter fits with the occasional extremely valuable STD Dropsuit BPO (Dragonfly).
Then it was full sets of Militia BPOs.
Then it was more standard Dropsuit BPOs with a few BPO weapons that came from events.
Fast forward several months and we started getting APEX Prototype BPO's that were "balanced" because they can't be changed.
Then there was talk of allowing the APEX stuff to be customizable.
No we've a full set of 'Quafe' BPO Dropsuits, weapons, even some LAVs - but now with BPO turrets.
And here we are, talking about Standard Equipment BPO's.
I really, genuinely hope that Rattati makes a game-mode where BPO's of any kind are completely excluded so I can actually get the thrill of causing harm to someone's wallet again, rather than being frustrated at the fact that I'm losing ADV/Proto gear to people who will never experience a sense of ISK loss from what they run.
Best in-game economy ever, right there.
Have a suggestion for the Planetary Services Department?

I would actually prefer a few ccore game fixes to more quafe stuff.
Even though I love the purple monster suits.

'Quafe' Modules! Increasing a clone's response time, strafe speeds, sprint speeds, stamina pool, jump height, melee strength, ladder climbing, and pretty much every other physical capability through a direct internal supply and continual injection of !Quafe!. Not at all broken! 
Please buff my Magsex. It doesn't hit hard enough...

Don't you guys think we'd be going a little too far? I mean, they're not even shown on your character model or kill feed...
Plus, we can already have fully BPO'd fits. I have 6 lol. It's pretty much all I run these days. |

I have to disagree, its money to run the servers. I wont be buying so I am not complaining

So you're mad it's now harder to proto-stomp blues into bankruptcy? Go play a competitive game mode like FW or PC if you don't want to fight BPO's.

You have starter fits. That's why they're there. BPO's are just a way for CCP to make money at the expense of a healthy in-game economy, which we will soon have the beginning stages of through simple trading. You think anyone's going to care to buy/sell Standard items at all what with the proliferation of BPO's? Even though their value isn't extraordinary, it would still be a lot more worthwhile if we didn't have BPO's.
Now just imagine what's going to happen if APEX suits become customizable and how much that's going to impact a player economy. You think anyone's even going to care about Standard BPO's at all once they can start trading customizable APEX's? Let alone standard gear at all?
This game was built on the aspects of making an impact on the sandbox. How the hell can you do that when Johnny NoBody is running all BPO's without any care in the world but making an impact on everyone else who isn't? Just because he spent real money?
