Why has this game been based around strafing it's ********, a bit of movement to put your opponent off fine.. If moving makes you immune to bullets then it's o.t.t seriously fix hit detection.
I'm off to play a game where ppl actually take damage when o hit them... Ya know.. An actual fps game
I know I'm not one to talk, but maybe it's not game error, it's operator error. ;)
All joking aside, I hope to God you aren't going to go play Call of Duty. :(

An actual fps game I know I'm not one to talk, but maybe it's not game error, it's operator error. ;) All joking aside, I hope to God you aren't going to go play Call of Duty. :( It's when ppl aren't moving N I've flanked behind them it takes 2/3 seconds of constantly hitting them before they start taking damage it's not everyone but it seems to be certain ppl from the same few Corps constantly which is just really suspicious and it's really annoying to the extention just going to leave game when I see them so I don't pad the kd/r of useless scrubs who need to cheat to do any good, I already know how they're doing it I just can't prove it (because I don't know where they live to check) and ccp wouldn't ban them anyway even if there was proof
I've encountered the same problem while in squad with corp mates. People we come up against just dont seem to take any damage. There's no lag or anything.  I pumped an entire Thale clip into a dude's head (he was 160m away), took no damage, and who suffers? Me. Why? Because that guy cheated. ._. I agree that hit detection is horrid. *ahem looks at CCP for a response*

Anyway, best suggestion I can offer is to back out of such battles when you see those guys. Deny them the ability to cheat on you. Set the controller down, go take a leak, and come back. Depending on the gamemode, by the time you come back, you'll have already received you loss payment. :P Then just start a new battle search. xD
